Read up to ch. 161, i don't know if im gonna keep reading it, so i'll left my review now before i forget too many things. The novel start out well, basically, the Mc is transported to CP world weak and alone, makes a shelter and tries to make things better for himself and meets other characters, when other characters meets Mc is kinda good honestly, Them reacting to Mc strange appearance and advance technology, their interactions, the basics. Is pretty good even when the mc barely cares about them. Not gonna say much about the writing, just that it is good too. The Mc is a pragmatic character, barely shows any kind of emotion and looking for benefits or just doing some research to improve his technology, so in the beggining of the novel his interaction with other characters are good, in the later chapters Mc just ignore them unless is absolutely neccesary because he consider it a waste of time, a pity honestly, i really liked their interactions. The novel has other problems too, the most obvious are: the Mc, conflics, Mc research and chap 159, there are more but just gonna mentions those. The Mc is a pragmatic character that focus on obtaining benefits and continue with his research, it could be interesting if it weren't because he doesn't do anything, literally just stay on the shelter and almost never getting out, aside from the very first chapters, the Mc gets out of his shelter like three times(may be wrong, but not for much) 1st when he had to help Pilar when he was injured, 2nd time when he go back to WH world, and the 3rd time when he had to change shelter to a more suitable one, the rest of the novel? In the shelter never going out, and his interactions with other characters are reduced to a minimum, talking to them when neccesary, ignore them when not. The conflics on the novel are a bit repetitive and boring, basically it goes like, -someone cause trouble, Mc ignores it because it is a "waste of time", Maine team solves the problem, the Mc appaer to somehow obtain benefits from the situations and then do something to scare everyone so they don't annoy him again, "repeat"- everytime something like that happens, the mc becomes a side character because he consider everything a waste of time, not taking anything like a real problem because he consider anyone who start a problem like " weak and primitive" it's just... boring and repetitive. The Mc research is basically the excuse the author use to make the Mc ignore everything that happens in the CP world, im saying it's an excuse because little to nothing comes out of that, all improvement in the knowledge he got doesn't come from any research, comes from things he got in the CP world, maybe i forgot and im exaggerating, but i think literally nothing comes from Mc research, aside from the key(forgot the name) that allows him to travel to different worlds. By chapter 150 and above there's a new conflict, that Mc barely cares... again, it's just very predictible what's gonna happen and it's... boring, especially because the Mc just see all that with little interest, and then comes capt. 159, the "china good" moment. It's just one chapter, not a dozen or so, just one, at that point the Mc was always the same, showing little to no emotion to any person or company, not to mention any country, and in that chapter a chinese company appear in front of the Mc to make deals in the future, with big interest coming from the Mc because... well, china, and a little bit of glaze to it, not something exaggerated, just a little, and it was extremely dissapointing, watching the protagonist, whose emotions were somewhat consistent in the novel, show so much favoritism to a Chinese company because it is Chinese while ignoring the bad side about that company and just glorify it was just... After that chapter the members of the chinese company just disappear and it's not mentioned again, but that single chapter just kill the little interest i had on continue this novel, for now.
Despite the long review and the fact that it needs improvement in several areas I didn't mention, I actually enjoyed the novel and yeah, will definitely continue reading it. If anyone reading this thinks the novel is bad just because of my review, the truth is I actually liked it. I think you should give it a try and see if you like it too. Personally, I recommend it.
Read up to ch. 122, i liked the novel, but there are things that i don't like, the system, the MC and the harem(kinda), considering nobody has said it in a review i'm gonna guess is more like a personal thing. The problem with the system is that it does everything. Can the Mc choose where do the simulation start? No, the system does. Can the Mc choose how will the simulated Mc will develop? Partially, the system gives the Mc from 2 to 3 options that will affect in the future of the simulation, but the consequenses of the options are so predictible that the MC barely thinks before choosing, sometimes he doesn't even thinks, hes like "oh... i don't like option 1, so i'll go with 2" thats how irrelevant the options are. The system gives talents with different quality/color that, at the end of the simulation the Mc can get, does it cost the Mc something? No, the Mc completed the simulation, so he get it for free, does the talent/knowledge/abilities/attributes affect the next simulation? No, mc starts from 0. Does the system need something to work? Something like the Mc completing a mission given by the system? Give the system an object or some money(mora) or do something so amazing that the system gives the mc another simulation try? No it work absolutely for free. The problem with the mc is that he doesn't have a reason to want to be stronger and is kind and empatethic. Is that a problem? In this novel, yes because in order to grow stronger, the mc have to hurt others through the simulation, which later will hurt them outside of it. And the mc knows yet he keep going even if he hates hurting others, why does he do that? What drives him to continue then? Is he scared of death? Is someone going to attack him later? Is the world ending and the mc wants to be a savior? I don't know, the novel never states why he want to become stronger even if it hurts other and he hates it. The harem problem... well, you'll see, the system works by simulating a new life for the mc, in order to get the talents the system gives, the mc must makes bonds with other characters(up to chapter 132, they're all, mostly, females) and must die in a tragic way, the mc will make the female characters fall in love with him before dying, tragically, the system will later make the Fc feel what the simulated them felt, so basically the system brainwash them to love the mc, even if they haven't meet yet, so at this point the mc has sleep(yk what i mean) with 2 fc, 1 after they've meet after 3/4 days, and another fc hours after they've meet, so yeah... not so much development in the harem part. The novel isn't bad, i actually like it, but i wanted to point the bad things since nobody seems to care, in the reviews at least, i don't read the comments, so i don't know about that. There are other things i don't like about the novel (about the system, mc and the harem mainly) but the review is already quite long so... yeah, thats all, bye!
The story develoment at some point suddenly drops, in the Herta Station arc and Jarilo VI arc everything is alright, but in the Xianzhou Luofu arc is filled with filler chapters, characters have fun, eat, have massages, moves around, fight and kill monsters, but nothing really happen, you can skips entire chapters and you won't miss anything, because nothing really happen, there are some of them that are actually fun to read. But the worst part are the changes of POV's between the characters of the honkai world and the people who stream the game(honkai, of course) which happens in almost every chapter and it goes like Half the chapters: characters doing something. Other half: streamers saying something and their chat talking about how they want to do something to the characters of the game(lick someone sweaty feets, sucking MC pectorals, shipping characters, etc) or just mock at the streamer or have fun with them. You migh find this funny but at some point it repeats too much and starts to get annoying couse this happen in almost every single chapter, there are also chapters that are mainly focused on the parallel earth that has barely any impact on the honkai world. Btw the novel also has chapters were the MC goes to the parallel earth to do... things, which are filler chapters too(around 6 of them(?))said in a note, i don't remember if it was a A.n. or a T.n. English is not my first lenguage, sorry for the grammar mistakes.
Damn the review was long xD didn't even realize, anyway if you read all that, just wanna say that you must give this novel a try, those things writen on the reviews are not exactly reasons to not read the novel, take them more like things you will find on the novel that i , personally, found annoying, i just read up to chap. 161, and the novel has more than 480 chap. And things get better in later chap (chap 200+, apparently) as i said, chap 159 kill the interest i had on the novel, but if you ignore it, you migh as well like it, maybe i'll read it again in the future, so please, do not ignore this novel thinking it's bad because of my long *ss review and please, give it a try.
