I don't know about now, but back then, when I was reading, the author just copy pasted from gpt. You see those unnecessary em dashes? Only AI uses those. In normal stances, authors rarely use one or two, but not that many. And you will see those triple dots, those were actually em dashes, that the author later changed to triple dots.
