When I began writing "The Professor's Ruin," I wanted to explore the dangerous space where ambition and desire overlap. With Ethan, I aimed to create a character who is unsettlingly intelligent and charming; he sees the academic world as a battlefield and emotional vulnerability as the perfect weapon. He isn't just a villain, but a predator who is terrifyingly good at his hunt. In contrast, Professor Ashworth is a man who has been quietly starving for a real connection, making him both a tragic figure and the perfect mark. My goal was for the reader to be caught in the same intoxicating, dangerous orbit as Sebastian, to feel both the thrill of his emotional awakening and the horror of the manipulation happening just beneath the surface. It’s a story about the beautiful lies we accept when we're desperate to feel alive.

This xianxia tale follows a transmigrated hero who, after a heroic death, gains the overpowered "Soul Dominion" ability to control minds. The protagonist immediately begins leveraging this power to manipulate his way through the dangers of his new sect. These first chapters set up a fast-paced story centered on strategic planning and a swift climb to power.

After being betrayed by his ex-friend and hitting rock bottom, protagonist Nathan Cole is suddenly chosen by a mysterious "Harem Tycoon System". This event kicks off his mission to rebuild an empire by conquering powerful women and dominating the world of business, setting the stage for a tale of revenge and ambition.
