The world building, the stories and everything else was fun but the mc's character/personality has become increasingly weird and... boring? I'm not even sure what she's upto anymore. She's just an annoying weirdo now. I think the author thinks mc is acting cool and suave but no, she's just really really weird. No dropping this at 749. A real shame, I genuinely enjoyed this novel until the weird character development since the last 100 or so chaps sigh sigh

Fun! The characters are cute and all the characters have a decent development. The plot was pretty solid. Very Mary Sue but that's what I'm here for anyway🤷‍♀️ I honestly loved the ending quite a bit, especially the whole "five treasures" thingy (must say chu chu wasn't the only one disappointed about that 👀). Woa, this review is all over the place. Eh, anyway.... If you like Mary Sue, devoted love interest, cute children, some face slapping (+some bl— not majorly featured latter half, but still fun 👀), then this one is for you😌🫶

I both love and hate this novel. I'm usually looking for those independent Mary Sue mcs and this mc is nothing like that. She's quite stupid, childish and sometimes frustrating. But regardless, I have to admit that she's /real/. This novel navigates relationships (especially everything with the Zhang family) in such a realistic manner. I usually don't read novels like that coz WHO WANTS REALITY IN FICTION?! but yeah... That's it. That's my annoyance with the novel but otherwise it's fun. There's group pampering, there's a system, mc is indirectly op (through the system), there's sugar sweet romance (which takes a very realistic progression). It's fun. Worth the read

Interesting and entertaining (there definitely are plot holes and it gets a little frustrating in the middle) but it was certainly a fun read......................
