Good setting, the Mc is interesting, may seem one note at first but I do start seeing depth, all the other characters are interesting too Just one issue the pacing is HORRENDOUS it feels like it takes 20 chapter to get through one fight at first it seems fine but later on it gets so bad. which is a shame because the story is still interesting, it just feels like you have to have a sick, deep, intense, longing, for purgatory because I swear this book can definitely show it again its an amazing story but I really hope the pacing gets better.

yea your right, I was confusing the way commercial reactors work and bombs, in a commercial fission reactor it also uses a very abundant and basic uranium isotope but fission bombs require more than one "breeding" stage to get different isotopes which uses a lot of uranium, from what i remember in a commercial reactor its like within the single digits of purity meanwhile, fission bombs require up in the %90 levels purity, but thermonuclear bombs use depleted uranium which makes me wrong and your right, but besides that point, dosent the issue still stand where you can run out of depleted uranium? from what I understand of modern fusion reactors its possible to not use a complex material like uranium and instead could produce the material needed that is much more common to find in conclusion yes I was wrong but the point still stands that the material required for the bombs can be a much more limited resource than a pure fusion reactor

Maybe im doing a dumb here but isnt this insanely stupid? The way nuclear warheads work is by enriching the nuclear isotopes to certain types and through this process you lose more and more material as you strive to more pure materials, so if your issue is that nuclear fusion requires materials and in the long run you will run out why the hell would you change to a method that uses even more materials?!?!?!? Also on that point the nyx civilization still had thermal power, they may become a shadow of their former self but I have a hard time believing they would extinct, this whole entire arc makes no sense
