Roselle Gustav was supposed to have a bright future. A talented rune scholar admitted to the prestigious Astral Academy despite being the son of a count. He tried his hardest to prepare and unlock his foundation, but it was too complex. He entered the Astral Academy initially to become a professor forced by circumstances. But funnily enough, forced by different circumstances, he focused back on understanding his own foundation once again. The past three years in the academy were a living hell for him because of a certain someone. He endured everything thrown at him and secretly spent every possible moment to study and elevate his knowledge about runes. In a world where every person possesses a unique Foundation, the powerful are the ones that can unlock and elevate it. After five years of research and practice, Roselle has finally reached the point where he can attempt to unlock his foundation and gain the freedom he had yearned for all of his life. The novel will not be based singly in the academy. It is only an arc of the novel. I have plans for him that extend outside the academy majorly. The power system is unique and enjoyable with very logical and mechanical workings. I totally plan on finishing the book. How else would I improve?
