Great concept! Excellent comic timing! Marcus, Ravi, and Danny make a great team! Just one suggestion: 1) Put in one line explaining the 48 hours and the sofa between Ch5 and Ch6. Nonetheless, the fic is cute and funny, keep going!

A really creative cultivation and horror story, I'm still at Chapter 3 but I'm really loving it so far!
Choreography was pretty good in this chapter. Making use of that spare oil canister and a lightener seemed rather resourceful of both Danny and Marcus and managed to involve them in the fight while keeping the use of any magical powers out of it. Changing gears into LitRPG was definitely a big change in genre for the story, but State Secrets is an interesting ability for their job experience to translate into. Just wish the same effort had gone into addressing Jake's wounds.
