Zefelina: I just want to say: I can't believe that this discussion is still going on after over 4 months haha

P.s. Really love RTW, Lord of Mysteries and Trash of Count's Family. Would also recommend My House of Horrors (although it's more modern but I feel that it's similar in some ways) =]

Jayology: Just so you know. Most people have absolutely no control over how they rate the novel in general, unless they are downgrading a well deserved 5 to a lower number to decrease the overall score. I also, gave the grammar a 3, but in the end, when I graded everything else, the overall turned into a 4.8. I firmly believe that it’s worth reading. But once again that’s my opinion. I left a review for you earlier as well because I also thought you were harsh by calling his followers illiterate or bots, but I’m glad you pointed that out in this comment. Btw, I’m writing this comment while looking at your profile, because I wanted to see if you were the kind of person to troll others. I’m glad to find out that I was right in you being an opinionated/passionate person who left honest reviews of how they felt. Just don’t insult others as you do it. Please. You don’t need to stoop to their level.

Jayology: Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to insult the writer by telling him most of his fans are either bots, or unable to comprehend proper grammar is very rude and unnecessary. You said you wanted to be helpful and that’s nice, but helpful doesn’t mean that you should insult everyone else who enjoyed it. I personally loved it. I have a masters in OT, and I was raised in VA. I am most certainly not illiterate nor was I reading it for their mistakes in grammar. Everyone has a different criteria for rating the story. Mine was based on whether or not I enjoyed what I read or not. Was the plot enticing to me? Etc. I don’t want to tell you how to rate or judge someone’s work. I only ask that you do not insult others who believe in different ideologies of what they consider worth 5 stars. To do so is immature and childish. I also noticed you called yourself mean, but I’m sure your quite a nice person. If anything you are opinionated and so is 99 percent of the world LOL. Someone who is mean is somebody who is either trying to get a rise out of others, or someone who didn’t leave a review despite the authors flaw, so your okay in my book.

Happy_apple: RTW is going Downhill upon chapter 1200-1300, it can be said that when the author put out the Dream World the novel gets pretty confused, I will recommend you, Sword of Dawn, it gets a pretty backstory and good secondary characters!

I believe that the best novel I have come across is Release that Witch, hands down. Of course the genre is more fantasy rather than the usual xianxia on this site, but I think that a lot of the current xianxia novels are often just plain bad mainly because of the inherent difficulty in writing that genre of book, dealing with power creep and easy-to-fall-into stereotypes. My second favorite novel is probably Lord of the Mysteries for many of the same reasons that I love RTW, the masterful crafting of character and plot, not to mention an entirely interesting world with a flushed out history. If you are specifically looking for xianxia books, then I would recommend either Coiling Dragon, Stellar Transformations, or Desolate Era. I think I have personally worn myself out on the xianxia genre, but when I was really into it, those three are the ones that have stood out to me, whether it be because I just wasn't used to the genre and missed all the cliche bs when I was reading them or they really are just as great as I remember them. Other novels that are quite good are Trash of the Count's Family, The Novel's Extra, Terror Infinity, and The Book Eating Magician. View More

Yeah, i get that. I sometimes feel like deleting all of my comments, but i never do. I probably argue with them because it makes me feels smart or something, but its comments like yours which remind me there is no winning an internet argument, just shame. Sorry. View More

swordzero: I really don't understand why you're still arguing with them. You have made your point, but most people who read fanfic's come here for the plot and completely understandable that you come for both plot and grammar. It's just after you kept argue back that it was not very convincing any more.

(Apologies if I misunderstood something because of language barriers)
Respond with an argument rather than just calling what I said hate. Refute something I said in my argument. Challenge my opinion by stating facts that are in direct contrast with my critique instead of just calling me an idiot and a hater. And I do have respect. I have respect for the author, and their ability to put something they made out into the world for everyone to judge, that takes courage. But I didn’t have respect for the novel they wrote when I was writing the review, for the reasons stated in my review. View More

I am not a perfectionist, I need to be able to read a novel without the grammar noticeably subtracting from the experience, or, in this case, needing to spend considerable brain power to even figure out what is going on. View More

Zefelina: I agree with this review that language is important. Personally, it's very hard to read this novel and enjoy it. However, I am sure that for people whose English is not as good, this novel is great (I am not a native speaker, so I know what I am talking about. There was a time I could read anything, no matter how incorrectly it was worded haha).

Cheers for the author, hope you improve as you go on!

I didn't have a problem with him expressing his feelings necessarily. I had a problem that the way he was expressing them was needlessly hateful and constantly in the face of anyone who was trying to launch into the novel right away. It was constantly insulting the MC, but also the author in capital letter curse words. 31 people upvoted my comment before I deleted it (no use for it since his comment has been blocked, which I don't necessarily agree with), so obviously some people felt similarly to myself. I also do apologize for my rudeness, I get very passionate about things. I don't know if you saw all his comments before they got blocked, but I do realize that seeing my comments probably put you in a mood similar (lesser in intensity) to my own when seeing his.
Edit: Sorry for not replying sooner, did not see it. Also difficult to keep track of things when everything is deleted. View More

ThrustThunder: Your tirade about his tirade is just as annoying, and even longer than his was.
No one asked you to tell him off or wants to see you complain about him either.
Your rudeness to fellow commentators isn't desired here by anyone other than people of similar mental capacity to yourself.

They were leaving multiple comments on every chapter. They're gone because apparently they've been blocked or something. Almost every comment was filled with capital letters and curse words which for some reason weren't blocked. It was all negative, calling either the MC stupid, or the Author stupid, to put it into nicer words. That being said, I never reported them, because I don't like to do that stuff. But still, trust me when I say that they weren't the most positive people in the world, and they were making sure the whole world knew that on every chapter. That being said, now that there isn't someone whining on every chapter, I will delete my comments (which I agree are very whiny, but I like to think are purposeful. Definitely not though, nothing matters really, especially on a site like this where intelligence is not required nor expected).
Apologies for any and all mistakes made in grammar/spelling/logic, I have just woken up at the time of writing this comment. View More

I believe we have different views on what makes a novel a good novel. As I stated in another comment, I was probably a too harsh in my phrasing, but my view as to why this novel is not good stays the same (unless of course the author has reformatted everything and fixed all the grammar). I believe that you think what makes a novel a good novel is that it entertains you and caters to your beliefs. I also dislike novels where the novel is just an outlet for an author's racist attitudes, and any racist or ***ist or bigoted views portrayed within the novel have no thematic purpose, or novels where the MC is an unbelievable living, breathing, feeling creature. I am fine with slaughter though, as long as it fits the character. Once again, I have no problems with the novel other than that its formatting and grammar make it borderline unreadable (at least no other problems that I could realize because I spent all my brainpower figuring out what was being trying to be conveyed). And I think that is what makes the novel "bad". The fact that it is almost unreadable. I get the whole, "if it keeps my attention, then it's a 5/5." I also read novels that I think aren't very high quality just because I enjoy them. But just because they are enjoyable doesn't make them a good book. It's like junk food, a quick, tasty, easy fix, but by no means good for you.
I'm not insulting people because their opinion is different than mine. I insult them when the points they make have no logic or reasoning behind them and are more prejudicial than probative. I don't have the patience or capacity to deal with stupid people. I didn't reply to kr0n's second comment because I realized that there was actually very little point in trying to start an argument where they could actually maybe state some points which would justify their first comment. I gave them ample reason to prove me wrong by insulting them (as well as making valid points), and instead they proved me right by just calling me a salty kid. View More

True_Equality: It's cool to have your own opinion, just don't insult other people's intelligence because they have a difference in opinion. I personally think the only REALLY bad stories on Webnovel are ones with racism and MC's that are hypocritical and/or have no logical sense(MC that seems like he never killed a chicken only to killing people with out batting an eye after reincarnating or an MC that slaughters an entire sect of people simply to tie up any 'loose ends' even when 99% of them didn't actually do anything to him while the author 'justifies' it by making an antagonist survive a similar slaughter... I'm looking at you Scum Che!). I enjoy reading simply because I have way too much time on my hands nowadays and just want to keep my attention on something so I don't go stir crazy. If this keeps my attention without making me frustrated then it's a 5/5 in my book. Sorry if that doesn't match your opinion but it's mine.

DaoistLeftNut: I can't even tell what you are trying to say. If you're saying that the reason why I dislike this novel is because I only like the Wuxia and Xianxia genre of story (which you claim are carbon copies of one another), then you are wrong. I started out reading things online at WW around four years ago, and for a while, I enjoyed reading Wuxia and Xianxia novels, but as time went on I did get bored of their tropes, and now only certain novels in the Wuxia and Xianxia category can really interest me if they have something which sets them apart. I now mainly read novels that are more of that fantasy, sci-fi, and gamelit genre, because I enjoy them. That being said, I will repeat what I said in some of my earlier comments, which I doubt you took the time or had the mental faculty to read. I don't have a problem with the content of this story. I very much like the world of Pokemon and would definitely love some good fanfics set in the world of Pokemon. However, I felt that with this author's way of formatting their novel, it was more difficult to read and comprehend than it is worth.
(This is way more effort than I should ever have to put into a reply to such a mindless comment, but I like to be thorough.)

DaoistLeftNut: Ayo author, I feel like the whole "can't keep spatial rings near each other or they stop working," is a bad reason why people can't have multiple spatial rings. Why does it only work with spatial rings and not interfere between spatial backpacks and spatial rings as well? Is it something fundamentally different between the ring and the backpack? If it's the distance between the backpack and the ring that keep them from interfering, why not keep rings on separate hands, or one on the hand and one on a necklace? How far do the rings have to be apart? If one wants to spend the night with a loved one and they both have spatial rings, do they mess with each other then, or does the couple have to be careful about keeping them close together? I feel like a much better way to handle it is to just say that a ring connects to the soul, and a person is only able to bind (sort of like Wuxia novels) and access only one ring at a time, and then you could differentiate the backpacks by saying they could be opened by anyone. You could have the ring be more like a portal to your own soul space and how good your ring is allows you to more efficiently use your soul space, allowing you to store more stuff, while how strong your soul is would also increase space, while the reason why backpacks still have some weight is because it is just a pocket of distorted space on a person's back. Unless of course you have some plans for this spatial ring interference plot-wise or action-wise in the future. Just seems like a very inconvenient system to me.

What intelligence has been displayed here today.
I did stop reading this novel. Because I didn't like it. So I wrote a review about it, and how I felt it could be improved.
What is the point of your comment? To try to attack me because you like this book, even though it is of poor quality? Another book that you're gonna read for a while, then, in your words, "drop."
Learn how to develop an argument, study up on your grammar, then try to criticize me, because what you said in your comment was not a logical criticism, all you did was b*tch. Now go suck on toes or whatever it is people like you do.

DaoistLeftNut: I feel that the people who gave this five stars are either bots or people who have a poor understanding of the english language. This novel does not deserve more than 2.5 stars. For it to have more than 4 is actually just astounding. The synopsis is a giant f**king run-on sentence that is repetitive, and so is the entire story. I know that almost every user created novel on this site has more than 4 stars and deserves less than 3, but I decided to check this one out, so it will receive my hate and criticism. The actual coherence of the novel isn't entirely unreadable, but the formatting and repetition and everything else grammar-wise needs improving. It is difficult to care about character and world-building when it takes conscious though to understand what the author is saying. Yes, you can applaud that they are putting out a chapter a day, but who cares when that daily chapter is a piece of s**t.
