I do love this novel, but am very confused with how this new energy system was introduced... every region has its own unique energy system for beasts? similar to how the runic system was entirely abandoned after he became a beast master it came out of nowhere imo, unless I missed something if it was explained that by specializing as a beast master you would lose your runic ability it would make sense but I don't remember reading anything of the sort
