Sorry I won’t be able to update until this weekend, I worked over the Easter holidays and am sadly sick now with the flu and running a high temperature (occupational hazard I’m afraid). Very good question! I guess it also depends on when the myth of dragon energy started to perpetuate (who decided to use it to start flattering their emperor lol)? Ziyu is actually his courtesy name! I think I mentioned it briefly in one these recent chapters but it wasn't made clear enough sorry! His birth name is Yun Zheyan, the inversion of Yan Zheyun, but this is complicated and I definitely need to make it more obvious when I edit. I wanted to create a complex situation with complex perspectives in that messy triangle (? rectangle? pentagon???) so I'm glad you've managed to empathise with his situation! There are quite a few characters that are neither completely good nor bad I think...well some are just bad ^^;;
