Read this story for quite a while. Was really invested in the beginning but things quickly went downhill after entering the Sun-Moon Empire. Like, half the chapters are describing a soul tool or making of a soul tool. It's like the writer found a word count cheat just describing soul tools and not story development.

Actual story seems really good but the translation is really grating at points, an example is when a rather important character named Xiao Hongchen is repeatedly called Xiaohong Chen, despite his sister being correctly called Meng Honchen every time. It just seems like it’s a machine translation that the author can’t bother putting the effort in to fixing the easy stuff.
The story is good, only the translation is still lacking but it can still be digested in reading it. What is frustrating is that the storyline is really slow, too much explanation of cultivation.
