Ling Xingzhi was originally from Huangchuan, Henan Province. He was born in Zhengzhou City in 1956. He had been learning painting from Wang Fudong, a teacher from Huangchuan Normal School. In 1974, he participated in the art training class organized by the All-China Federation of Trade Union in Xinyang. In 1986, he was sent to Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts to study and became Mr. Wu Guanzhong's disciple. His art works have participated in many national, provincial and ministerial-level exhibition and won awards. They have also been published in many magazines and newspapers. Ling Xingzhi was currently a member of the China Artists Association, a special painter of the Henan Province Painting and Calligraphy Academy, the vice president of the Shanghai Yide Painting Academy, and the vice president of the Luoyang Railroad Painting and Calligraphy Academy. He was once stationed in Shangyuan Art Museum in Beijing, and in 2014, he became a signed artist at the Spring Song Art Museum in Shen Zhen.
