Who is worshipped in the Hall of Three Officials of Xuankong Temple?

The main hall of Xuankong Temple was the core of the temple, and it was called the Ksitigarbha Hall. Half of it was embedded in the steep belly of the rock, while the other half was suspended above the cliff. It was a spectacular sight. In the main hall, the Bodhisattva Tsenpo was worshiped. There were side halls on both sides of the main hall. On the south side were the Temple Hall and the Child-giving Guanyin Hall, and on the north side were the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Hall and the Thousand-hand Guanyin Hall. There was a square-shaped ear hole on both the north and south sides of the bottom floor of the main hall. From the north ear hole, one could reach two three-story, nine-ridge flying towers that were about 10 meters high. The architectural style of the main hall was ancient and magnificent. It was one of the important scenic spots of Xuan Kong Temple.

The Bridge Hall of Jingxing Xuankong Temple was a building located on Cangyan Mountain in Jingxing County, Hebei Province. It was one of the three great hanging temples in China. It was built in the Sui Dynasty, slightly earlier than the Anji Bridge in Zhaozhou. The hall of the bridge building faces west to east and spans between the cliffs of two mountains. It is an open-shoulder arch with high wings and colorful tassels. It is elevated above the clouds and fog sea. It has an unattainable power and the potential to fly in the sky. In the hall of the bridge, there were three Buddha statues of Shakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, and Medicine Master Glazed Light King Buddha, as well as Guanyin and Eighteen Arhats. This bridge was a wonder of Mount Serpentine and one of the three wonders of Mount Serpentine.

The smallest Mahavira Hall in Xuankong Temple was located on the corridor connecting the Bell and Drum Tower. The doors and windows of the hall were exquisitely shaped, and there were shrines for the three Buddhas, Taiyi and Guan Di. It was the smallest Mahavira Hall in China and the only Mahavira Hall in the country that worshipped the three religions.

The immortals worshipped by the Xuankong Temple on Mount Heng included one of the Eight Immortals of Taoism, Lu Dongbin, the Heavenly Official, the Earthly Official, the Water Official, and the representative figures of Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism, such as Guanyin Bodhisattva, Shakyamuni Buddha, Lao Zi, and Confucius. In addition, the temple of Guan Yu and the statue of Marshal Tianpeng were also worshipped.

The temple of King Zhaohui was dedicated to King Huiwen of Zhao during the Warring States Period.
