Write a reviewIf this doesn't get picked, we riotIt has been a long time since I've read something in trial read that was this good, genuine likeable characters, actual character development, even the side characters are round. The plot is great too, just read the first ten to twenty chapters and I gaurantee you'll be hooked. Its's funny at times, serious at other times, has action but also some downtime that doesn't feel boring at all. Every chapters you truly feel like something happened
The translation quality is quite excellent for an edited MTL, and the writing itself is also superb. I love how far thinking the author is in his worldbuilding, but a necromancer who derives his power from a forest he created is interesting, as he has to become a hero and defend the city he's stationed in. It's worth checking out.
The story seems to borrow a lot from D&D and other sources, which can be a slight distraction, if you are familiar with those or looking to dig deeper into possible story paths. But if this doesn't bother you, this is a solid story, with a seemingly stable (read: not a total idiot who falls for or charms every female he comes across) MC. The concept of the necromancer, whose first priority is planting and protecting trees is great. World building is a little confusing and there are a few errors of syntax or names here and there. Easy to fix. Looking forward to seeing how the story progresses. Overall recommendation.
Compared to most of the novels on here as of late this is a return to form. It's quite good and worth checking out, so give it a shot. The worldbuilding and writing are all quite good, and you will easily be absorbed into the world of the novel.
I like this one, a combination of druid and necromancy is really cool. basically a good guy necromancer. hoping more from this one
its pretty good for a new novel. this novel tells a story from necromancer pv that got druid system. when he does druid things like planting a tree, he got necromamancer reward. but when he does necromacer things like killing or burying body, he got druid rewardi hope this novel wont become mtl trash after ch40 like most of these novel.
An interesting duality between necromancy and druidism. Besides developing powers in both domains, he even gets to learn the skills of people buried in his forest (under certain limitations, of course). In addition, the side characters are not one-dimensional, and the dialogue flows well.
Not a bad novel, translation is good, i just hope it doesn’t change to mtl translator after chapter 40 pls
Hey! This one stands out and in a good way. Let's hope it gets translated. The MC is a necromancer who deals with the intersection of life and death, delving into the domains of necromancer and nature magic. The author seems ambitious in his worldbuilding. Let's cross our fingers and hope this one gets picked.
A really well thoughtout plot, albeit sometimes slow, it picks up the pace quite quickly. MC is a mix between a Druid and a Necromancer, and the abilities and skilsl he display are interesting. however, the interesting part is the plot itself and how well it is structured, things feel grounded and rather realistic at the same time, while the world is filled with mysterious and many conceptual things the game world is very inspired by D&D, from astral planes to classes, the rpg system itself, and how items and skills interact with one another mc is growing at a steady pace, but he is cautious and doesnt take things for granted, the whole necromancer and druid system is also very nice, it is not just "get skill level up and done", he has to do several process, such as commuting with nature, creating pacts with the Underworld for Undead, paying Undead to stay with him with the very rare Soul Crystals, and more. there is a whole system of laws and things working together, the writing is plain and simply, nothing outstanding, but good enough It is so good it doesnt even feel like a chinese novel.
This novel is akin to the fresh air you inhale after being stuck in a really stuffy room, it is kinda different to most webnovel I'm used to reading.
Translation Quality & Stability of Updates I'll be upfront. I'm being paid to do edited mtl, so that's that. However, I also purchase Grammarly Premium. Because what is better than one bot? Two Bots! Continued in Comments, Cause Webnovel is not accepting Long Post >
