One common element is poor time management. Many students go from a structured high school schedule to the freedom of college and can't handle it. Another is choosing the wrong classes or major, like I did. Also, getting too involved in social life at the expense of academics is quite common.

Well, my first day of college was quite eventful. I had to carry all my stuff to the dorm by myself which was a struggle. Then, during the orientation, I was introduced to so many different clubs and activities. I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but it also filled me with a sense of excitement for the opportunities that lay ahead.

My first kiss in college was really unexpected. It happened during a campus event. There was a slow dance, and I was dancing with this person I had a bit of a crush on.
