What if you purchase a book from a second hand bookstore and found a dying letter written on it? What would you do? Would you ignore it? Would you try finding the previous owner? This is the dilemma of Eric, a young D.J. of an evening segment to a radio station. He bought a book at a small second hand bookstore. When he got home, he tried to browse the pages of the book. He then noticed that at the last blank pages of the book, a letter was written. It started with the greeting, “Yam” and ended with “Your Dad.” It is actually a letter of a dying father to his daughter whom he had not talked to for ages. Having read it several times, Eric wanted to give the book to the daughter but his dilemma is he does not know where to look for her. The only clue that he has is the simple greeting, “Yam.” The letter kept on bugging him, as if pleading to be sent to the addressee. What will he do? Would Eric be able to give the dying message of the father to his daughter?

Have no idea why it says 'female leading', what does that even mean? Anyway gales a guy, wait do I say that in the story? Well there all guys, I forgot to make a girl, oh wait! Yuki! And those girls who steped on gayles books! Aww I totally forgot about those girls, not yuki, the book steppers, I'll make something horrible happen to them ☺️

I have been working on this for over a year now, and I was making an Anti-Hero/God/Horror character. Enjoy. By the Way, I started working on this in Google Docs.

The novel revolves around three story lines:- 1. Prof. Mathew 2. Sasi and Amit(college undergraduates) 3. Detectives Govind and Srikant 1.Prof. Mathew:- He is a professor in an engineering college and is also a recent divorcee. He has absurd nightmares about a man reciting to him old poetry and threatening to kill him, after which he finds himself in the terrace in the morning(presumably sleepwalking to the terrace each time he has this nightmare). He is also forgetting things at a constant rate so much so that he has completely forgotten what he teaches and has resorted to teaching a mathematically calculated language(which he claims to have created himself) to his students as his courses don't account for much. 2.Sasi and Amit are first year college undergraduates. While wandering around the campus, they meet Hussain, a super senior(one who has graduated college but still stays in the campus) who is also the founder of 'Raining jacket Inc.' which is a startup which, with the help of its device 'Raining Jacket', manages to manipulate people's minds with the AI devices they use like phone, laptop etc to like someone else( most precisely it's clients). Hussain hires them and all of them go through a journey of being fascinating by the extent to which Raining Jacket can manipulate the mind into liking someone. 3. Detectives Govind and Srikant are investigating the murders of a serial killer on the college campus(same as prof. Mathew, Sasi and Amit) who follows a pattern of alternate gender murders. They are also close flatmates whose kids got exchanged when they were born, and they are in the process of accepting their real kids, after swapping them with each other.

Fu Shinian, an extra character in the original book, awakens to find that her whole family are the vicious villains in the story. Her father, unable to establish relations with the Marquis Changping's residence, is demoted and exiled by the male lead. Her mother is beaten to death on the road to exile, and Aunt Cheng is humiliated to death protecting her chastity. Her elder brother opposes the male lead to win over the female lead and dies saving her. Her elder sister makes life difficult for the female lead, and after their father is exiled, she is divorced by the male lead and sent to a pleasure house. To protect her family and change their tragic fate, isn’t it fair for her to absorb all the male and female leads' fortunes? * [Ding! Male and female leads' fortune -1000, Fu Mansion's fortune +1000] Mr. Fu: "I attended the morning court session, why did His Majesty promote me again!" Madam Fu: "I went to the temple to offer incense, and the master said I was surrounded by a powerful purple aura!" Aunt Cheng: "How did the Cheng Family suddenly become the imperial merchants!" Elder Brother: "It seems like I suddenly have gained intelligence, I know all the exam questions!" Elder Sister: "How come right after I broke off the engagement, Little General Gu came to propose?" * The Marquis Changping can only live to 25, in two years the title will belong to the male lead? She frantically absorbs the fortunes of the male and female leads to boost the Marquis Changping's fortune! During the plague lockdown, Fu Shinian brings medicine and travels long distances into the city to safeguard his health. He understands the girl's intentions, but he only has two years left to live, how can he drag her down. However, why does his heart ache so much watching her with someone else? Finally, the Marquis Changping forces Fu Shinian into the corner of the study, lowering his head to seek her lips: "Niannian, I was wrong."
