She is attending school at Princeton High in place of Adam Darkwaters (aka her doppelganger). Avery is to switch identities with Adam Darkwaters so she can attend Princeton High in place of Adam Darkwaters, while Adam attends her school, Evergreen High. Avery is to continue Adam's family tradition at Princeton High, where every male of the Darkwaters family, starting from Adam's great-great-grandfather, had to become The Captain of the Martial Arts Club.
