The Scion's Jack of all Trades Wife

The Scion's Jack of all Trades Wife

They first met on a train. She just came out from retirement of being a hermit while he was traveling incognito. He was reading a book when she interrupted his concentration. “Do you want to know how fast I read?” The man looked up, his charcoal eyes peered at her, an eyebrow was raised. How shameless can she be? But whatever, she needed to read that book. “I can finish it in thirty minutes.” “So do I. If you stop talking to me,” the man once again buried his head on the book. “I can give you a very detailed book review?” The man continued reading, treating her like an air. She pursed her lips, thinking how she can convince the man. “Giving up so soon? I thought you want to read this book?” The man threw her a glance, raising the book in front of her face, tempting her. “Okay. What do you want?” She braced herself for his outrageous answer. “Oh, it’s nothing. I’m sure you can give it to me.” She squared her shoulders, indicating him to proceed with his request. “Just a kiss,” the man said, his charcoal eyes became darker. She almost fell from her seat when she heard the man’s request. She looked at the man’s lips unconsciously then back to the book. For the first time in history, Li Nuxie wanted both. ================= This is an original story. I just changed the cover which is from Canva. I hope you like it. :) Thanks. By the way, I'm an amateur writer and English is not my first language so please pardon my grammar.

Was there a significant Jack London novel in 1912?
I don't think there was a particularly significant Jack London novel in 1912. His more well - known works were from a few years earlier. He was a very active writer, but in 1912, there's no obvious novel that stands out as being a major new release. It could be that he was in a transition period, working on new concepts that would later develop into other works. For example, his earlier works often explored themes of nature and survival, and in 1912 he may have been exploring different angles of those themes or branching out into other areas.

Jack London's novel
Here are some of the golden lines from Jack London's novel: - " I'd rather be ashes than floating and sinking. I'd rather die in raging flames than rot with lonely rotten wood. I'd rather be a dazzling meteor bursting with light than an eternal star sleeping for eternity." - "It's not easy for a person to come to this world. No matter what, you can't let life down." - "I'd rather be ashes after burning than dust on the ground. I would rather have my spark burn out in a dazzling blaze than let it rot and suffocate. I would rather be a fleeting meteor, every atom shining magnificently, than a planet in eternal sleep. Man's mission is to live, not just to exist." - “Show me a man with a tattoo and I'll show you a man with an interesting past.”Everyone with tattoos has an interesting past. - " The wildness has sunk into a long slumber, and hope will never be extinguished. I broke free from the chains of habit and jumped into the ice and snow of the Wilderness." - " The desires of the ancient wilderness are rising, breaking free from the shackles of customs and awakening the wild and untamed melody from its long sleep in winter." Read more exciting novels for free

What is the 1903 Jack London novel about?
I'm not sure which specific 1903 Jack London novel you're referring to. He wrote many great works. If it's 'The Call of the Wild', it shows the transformation of Buck from a domesticated dog to a wild one. It explores themes like survival, the power of nature, and the relationship between man and animal. If it's another work, more context would be needed.

What was Jack London's novel in 1912?
One of Jack London's notable novels is 'The Call of the Wild', which was published in 1903. However, if we consider around 1912, he was also actively writing. Another important work of his is 'White Fang', which was published in 1906. It's possible that in 1912 he might have been promoting or working on related themes. But it's not straightforward to point to a single novel specifically for 1912.

How did Jack London create a sense of horror in 'Jack London Ghost Stories'?
By using the unknown. He often introduced elements that were not fully understood by the characters, like strange noises in the wilderness or inexplicable events. This sense of the unknown creates fear and horror. In many of his stories, the characters are in situations where they can't explain what's happening around them, and that's really scary. He also sometimes played with the psychological state of his characters. As they faced extreme conditions, their mental states deteriorated, and this internal struggle added to the horror. For instance, a character might start to hallucinate in the cold, blurring the line between reality and the supernatural.

Tell me about the 1904 Jack London novel.
Well, if the 1904 Jack London novel is 'The Sea - Wolf', it's a gripping tale. The character development is quite interesting. Captain Larsen is a complex figure, both feared and respected. Van Weyden, on the other hand, transforms from a rather naive man into someone who can hold his own. The novel also gives us a peek into the maritime world of that time, with all its perils and the unique code of conduct among sailors.

If it's 'The Sea - Wolf' as mentioned before, one main feature is its strong character portrayals. Captain Larsen is a dominating and forceful presence, while Van Weyden is the contrast, evolving throughout the story. Another feature is the detailed setting of the ship and the ocean, which adds to the sense of isolation and danger.
