Se recibieron 151 relatos a nivel nacional, y se contó con un comité lector integrado por 80 voluntarios designados por Machucabotons Escuela de Escritura, para la lectura y preelección. El jurado interpreta este hecho como un testimonio de talento literario y felicita el autor.
