Corbière was the largest wine producing area in the languedock. Most of its wines were strong and powerful. Good wines often had the fragrance of spices such as rosemary, thyme, lavender, and so on. It produced AOC-level wine and was considered the oldest wine village in France. It had a history of more than 2,000 years. Corbière was in a quadrilateral shape, covering the ancient castle of Carcassonne to the ancient island of Catégu, and from the first foot of the Pyrenees to the foot of the Black Mountain. The geological structure was complex and varied. It was mainly composed of carbonatite clay soil, with slight changes in each district. There were red sandstones in Butna, pebble riverbed terraces in Lezlian, gray marls in Gribu and Ville, shales in the Corbiere Mountains, coral limestone along the Mediterranean Sea, and other different geological structures. The eastern part of Corbiere had a Mediterranean climate, with typical Mediterranean shrubs. The western part was slightly affected by the Atlantic climate, which was very suitable for the growth and ripening of the legal grape varieties Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Muhwaite. The production area could be roughly divided into four terroir regions: Upper Corbiere in the south, with high altitude, the wine produced from the grapes planted there was complex and layered, with the taste of shrubs and spices; Alaric Corbiere in the northwest, mainly protected by the Alaric Mountains, with sunny slopes, the Muhwaite planted there had the fragrance of ripe fruits and licorice; and Corbiere in the center.(also known as Corbière Boutner), the wine was rich and complex, and the grape variety Carignan performed particularly well. Corbière de la Mer was affected by the Mediterranean climate and the weather was hot. The red wine produced by the grapes was fragrant and full, and the white wine was delicate and elegant. The vast majority of the Corbiere region was red wine, and the grape varieties were mainly Grenache, Muholwaite, Syrah, Carignan, Shensuo, etc. The wineries here were good at using the art of blending to make the wine more balanced and the flavor more complex. In addition, it was revealed that a Corbiere AOS wine that was promoted by Jingdong and Disturb was actually filled in China. This was because the French AOS level did not make clear regulations on the filling place, and the Chinese national standard did not make requirements for the French level. This allowed some domestic wineries to take advantage of the loopholes and even suspected of fraud. While waiting for the TV series, he could also read the exciting content related to this site!
