greek goddess of the moon
The ancient Greek moon goddess
In ancient Greek mythology, there were three moon goddesses, Phoebe, Selene, and Artemis.
Artemis was one of the twelve gods of Olympus, the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was regarded as the patron saint of women, hunting, and the moon. Her image was often depicted as a girl holding a bow and arrow, wearing a short skirt, a hunter's cloak, and a moon crown. She was in charge of the changes of the moon, moon inspiration, and moon sacrifice. Her name meant "flawless" or "daughter of the moon." She was also a goddess of hunting. She had superb hunting skills and archery skills. She was a strict supervisor of hunting. Hunters were not allowed to kill young animals or female beasts, nor were they allowed to capture too many animals. Artemis vowed to remain a virgin forever, and there was a legend of her rejecting the proposal of the Titan God Stoch. Her temples and altars were distributed throughout the ancient Greek world, such as the Temple of Braoulou in Athens and the Temple of Artemis in Eversos. The main sacrificial festival was the Festival of Artemis, which was usually held in winter.
Selene was the second child of the Titan god, who was betrothed to Rion and Teia. She was the sister of Helios, the old sun god, and Eos, the goddess of the dawn.
There was little information about Phoebe.

Who Could Be the Main Greek Goddess in a Naruto and Greek Goddess Lemon Fanfiction?
Hera could be an interesting option. As the queen of the gods, she has a strong and commanding presence. If she were to interact with Naruto, it could be a story of power struggles and mutual respect. She might see Naruto as a potential ally or threat, and the fanfiction could explore how their relationship develops over time.

Moon Goddess Feng and Moon Goddess Bu
In Natsume's Friend's Tent, Moon Goddess Feng and Moon Goddess Bu were seen as a couple. The Moon Goddess Feng and the Moon Goddess Bu were related in the story of the Moon Sacrifice. Their images were a contrast between light and shadow. The Moon Goddess Feng represented light, while the Moon Goddess Bu represented darkness. With the development of modern society and the decrease in human belief, Moon Goddess Feng's ability weakened due to the lack of belief. However, Moon Goddess Bu had always admired Moon Goddess Feng. In the end, the two gods decided not to be bound by their mission and stayed together in their final days. Their story caused a lot of speculation in the 2D circle, and a large number of doujinshi pictures and doujinshi characters appeared.

The Moon Goddess and the Sun Goddess
In China mythology, the Moon Goddess was called Wangshu, and the Sun Goddess was called Xihe. In ancient Greek mythology, Selene was the Moon Goddess, Helios was the Sun God, and Apollo was also regarded as the Sun God (Helios and Apollo were confused). In addition, the Moon Goddess in ancient Greek mythology had many derivative gods. Artemis was also related to the moon and corresponded to Selene and other so-called "three-faced goddesses". In web novels and other context, there might be names such as the hot-tempered Sun Goddess Reina.
