Synopsis

Hello guys. I am one of the translators for this novel (the most chatty one too). If you have stalked me before, you've probably seen me doing a CinemaSins for Legend of Supreme Soldier from time to time when the plot went... umm... a bit out of control? Yes, Webnovel management is smoking lots of weeds at the moment that they utterly missed out putting Chapter One online. Yes, we have informed them. Hopefully it won't take forever. Also, the Chinese original author (which is not me) for the novel is also kind of high. She wrote chapters very concisely and sometimes I really feel the need of adding a few more paragraphs just to clarify things or make the romance look better and not all-rape-but-no-love romance (which is a poor way to execute the genre). I know you have enough of this kind of genre. Stay calm, please complain to the management so they'll stop being so high over such type of genre and will thereby cease giving us such genre to translate too (WOULD BE A BIG HELP for us if you ask me, you can't imagine the number of eyerolls I made while translating) Anyway, enjoy. honestly, these days i don't even have the urge to read any new novels from qidian because all of the most recent female protagonist novels all fall under the same mold, the same category, on repeat. It makes it so hard to stomach even though normally i don't mind cliches. i only hope that qi will translate more historical, cultivation romance. these modern romance are so boring to read after a while because male leads and female leads are usually kinda stupid, which frustrate me to the point of dropping the novels. honestly, i don't frequent the site as much as i used to before because there's just nothing i want to read here. which is such a shame, because there are so many good novels waiting to be translated yet atlas studios always pick the most boring books. and then you guys are asking why you aren't making enough money from the site. please grow a brain
Pointless. Seems kinda boring. We can see hundreads of books like these here already. Its just pointless + the female lead seems to be so weak in the storys. Qidan please, please start translating intresting novels not repeats...
I won't comment on it now. I do have something to say to qidian though. Qidian please do bring more novels like 'beautiful time with you ', 'pampering only for you'. Even novels like 'return of Queen of fashion' , 'ms CEO is my bodyguard' in original section have stronger female leads. Bring more novel like them and change the usual trope of Adonis series where FL is raped and yet they fall in love with their rapist or they stomach rape in name of marriage or love. Modern society has developed quite a lot and girls are well aware of their footing in society to discriminate between right and wrong.
I guess I misread the romance fiction tag. It seems the romance in this story is fiction. The entire rationale for the main character (MC) to put up with the male lead’s(ML) abuse is so flawed that I can only believe the author published the story and “accidentally” left out the essential backstory info. Supposedly the MC agreed to marry the ml, work as his secretary, be his xxxx buddy, be his emotional punching bag, so that he would not make things difficult for her mom aka his stepmom. AND the MC wants it all to be kept secret. Umm ... so okay. Then the lotus flower(LF) shows up and they are both okay with the ML making out with LF? But somehow he only protects her from a pervert male biz client attempting rape and does not kill him because she had a nightmare. Supposedly after demonstrating to the reader that he cares about the mc by not killing off the biz douchebag, he allows her to become the fodder of office gossip, and the target of the lotus flower. Well, so far the story and the characters are not interesting enough to continue. The translators are doing a great job putting lipstick on the pig. I feel bad for the translators. Hopefully their next job will be worthy of their skill.

Why's all the qidian novels are centered on entertainment filming or business. There should be more to the story than meeting a lover from nowhere. Is that how love story is up there in Asia.

A predictable storyline, with a despicable and vindictive male lead. Female lead is weak and succumb to his whims snd fancies. Usual clamour and fighting for the ML's attention.
I did not vote for this novel but somehow still ended up here because I ran out of things to read and this was still free. There is nothing to redeem this story. Not even the translation and editing. It's almost like the translator hates the story so much that they are mocking the readers instead. Sure you hate the story, but at least do a decent job. Editing needs work and the descriptions are just too absurd. The story is very twisted and the author is not able to make it work.

What is happening here.... I used to love this novel, although it's kind of harassing to LZY from the start but at least it has a steady and strong progress. Now the updates per chapter are so short that nothing makes sense and as if the 2 chapters can be rolled into one. And the characters are deeping in and out without really a good view as to why all of a sudden it would appear and disappear. I am not looking forward to it anymore like i used to, i hope the story would be back on tracks like it used to be.
