A retired secret agent was sent back in time to complete one final mission.

The story took place in a modernized magical world of Myr with its relatively advanced civilization of electricity and firearms. Almighty magicians had long died out leaving behind powerful magical beasts that roamed the world, and humanity that strived to survive with their technology.

Alter Norn was a 42-year-old 'Bookman', an operative of the largest secret information agency 'The Archive', that had retired from active duty.

Suddenly summoned by the head of the organization for one last assignment in his life, never in his wildest dream would he have guessed that he was about to be sent back to his 15-year-old self to accomplish the mission.

Back in time, while getting more and more entangled with the would-be heroes, key figures, and powerhouses of his generation because of the assignment, Alter, the average run-of-the-mill agent, realized that he was moving further and further away from his own supposed history with every step he took to complete the mission.

Alter was aware that he would eventually have to choose between the burden of the mission and the temptation of correcting his own personal mistakes in life.
