Interactions with the lore.
My main character will have interactions with characters long established in the lore. I will remain true to cannon for the majority however I do plan some major changes during the Skywalker era and if this upsets you, then you know in advance.
The novel will begin in the era of the old republic (Swtor) and will span until the readers get bored of reading it. For the most part things with the old republic will stay cannon however there will be meeting between key members of organisations and the main character. For the Skywalker era I plan to heavily change some lore and keep other things from the cannon. For example some main characters may die before their time or have their stance or faction changed. This is to help my story along, not to take away form the original Star Wars lore.
