Chapter 200: Fighting With The Enemy

I close my eyes and bury my head in the shirt, hoping my own breath would help keep me warm. I'm exhausted but my shivering keeps me awake... I wish I could curl up next to Alec and his familiar warmth.

"If you continue sitting there you will get sick..." Remi says bringing me back to the cold room. I choose to ignore him as I bury my head again. Screw him... I won't get sick with just this. I stay there all night dosing and shivering as I refuse to crawl into bed with him. 

I don't know how long I stayed there like that, but when my neck begins cramping, I have no choice but to sit up straight. My head slightly spins as I try to stretch my neck out. I look over to find the bed empty... I swallow hard but shake my head.

I'm not going to sleep in the bed... with or without him in it! I stand up to get something to drink for my dry throat but my head spins again causing me to grit my teeth. Of course... I walk to the bathroom and turn on the sink water.
