Synopsis
Lianne, a socially awkward girl due to her Asperger's, had never been in love before. She just found 'love' to be something overrated and troublesome.
Boys were too troublesome.
She just liked living a normal, low-key life. Away from the scheming of people and to just live the way she wanted. By herself.
However, what would she do when she meets someone who decides that he wants - very much - to have her in his life? Though he is everything she wanted in a guy, he was also one that had everything she did NOT want in a guy: scheming, troublesome family and flocks of women wanting to bed him.
Exactly the type of life she hates and has always been avoiding.
What should she do?
Did she have the courage to love him anyway?

Kai, the typical rich and playful CEO couldn't help but be fascinated by the woman he came across by chance at the airport. There was just something about her that caught his eye and he fell in love at first sight.
Kai was used to women flinging themselves at him due to his power and money, even though he was often mocked for his looks. It wasn't because he was ugly. On the contrary. He was beautiful, far more than most women.
He had always been surrounded by scheming people and he had never thought of finding anyone in his life. He held people at bay, he schemed against them to protect himself and he used them to get what he wanted.
Love? An alien concept.
So when he fell, he fell hard.
But what is he to do when the one person he does want, doesn't want anything to do with him? He can tell she has feelings for him but she just didn't want to get entangled with him.
Could he convince her to give him a chance, to show her how he can love and dote on her? To let her open her heart and take the chance.
Did he have what it takes to give her the courage to love?
NOTE: There is a 2nd ML and a 2nd FL as well. Most seem to like them more than the MCs. hahaha!!

Hi. Author here, doing the 'obligatory' own self-review. heh. This is my second novel, and it's a spin-off from the first (New Life: Second Chance ie NL:SC). Though it's not required to read the first to read this, it certainly would enrich the experience. However, be forewarned. Reading this novel before that will spoil the first novel's pairings ie all the pairings that developed in the first, is obviously revealed here. Other than that, the two novels are separate from each other. This is a light-hearted novel for me, in the sense that it'll be mainly fluff. There will be lots of cliche moments though it will have it's own twists and approaches that may be different from the norm. At the time of writing, I don't plan for the novel to be long. Estimate about 200 chapters. It's more of a 'break' after writing NL:SC for a year since this novel is geared more towards it being light-hearted and fun. But ... *cough* ... I'm well known amongst my NL:SC readers for never being right or accurate about my plans. After all, NL:SC was meant to be less than 100 chapters (became over 900 chapters) and end in December 2019 (ended in July 2020)... Anyway, the synopsis is there. Though the main couple is Lianne and Kai, there are other pairings like the 2nd ML and 2nd FL. Any questions, just ask here. Hope you enjoy this novel. Happy reading.
Reviewing after being upto date, as of now, chapter 73. Sigh. I really hate discovering novels that really makes me not want to stop reading them and is still on going. 😭 You see, I didn’t come from the Author’s novel, New Life: Second Chance, which I’ve read to be connected to this one, but I did check it out and for some reason, decided not to read it and just jump on to this one as Author did say that we can do that too. So here I am, reading about Lianne and Kai’s story, aswell as the 2nd MCs’ story. Although I do have questions while rading and would simetimes think that the answer might be at the first novel, I’m still pushing thru with this because I love both Lianne and Kai 🙈 I find the story really interesting. Not boring at all. So far, no heavy and complicated atmosphere, which I hope would carry on until the end 🤣 And omygosh, the fluff! I love all the MCs’ interaction, even the friends. 😍 The novel seems fast paced but not at the same time, I mean, atleast for me, it’s not. I actually find the pace really satisfying as I’m hoping that this novel would not be a very long one like what the Author said. 🤣 I love the lightness of the story, so far. There were no drama as of the moment, no face slapping yet. I really really love Lianne! I love her characters, which was shown throuout the chapters. I love her decisiveness. I love how understanding she is. I love her rationality. Given, she gets flustered over Kai, but that’s just it. Eventhough she gets flustered, she can still think rationally baout the situations and what to come. I find her very very refreshing! A breath of fresh air as they say. I love reading about her ❤️ I Ha. I think this might just be the very first time I’m reviewing a novel that is still ongoing and is not a Trial Read from WN. 🤣 And I want more chapters please! 🙈 Can’t wait to know more about them and how the story would unfold. Thank you, Author, for sharing their stories 😍 As for you, who’s debating whether to read or not, please do give this a shot. Read a few chapters. Give it a chance just like how Lianne gave one to Kai 🤣 You never know, you might just become a fan! ❤️
I liked NL:SC very much & PsyberRose is my favourite author. So, I hope everyone reads this. I was never into these types of novels but the author converted me & I've come to like the way her stories develop. While not necessary, I hope everyone reads NL:SC too 😊
Trusting the author's work to be great as I was never disappointed with his first novel, with so many angles to look forward to I trust that the novel will be great and I'll recommend other readers to follow PsyberRose' story from the beginning because you'll enjoy the journey

I love the approach that the author gives to his stories, the first one in my opinion is one of the best I have read, they have a little of everything in the right measure, also you always have to expect the unexpected since they are not typical stories that one always reads when there are female protagonists. Kudos to the author for writing compelling stories where you always wait for your daily fix.

This book is intriguing ,the plot just holds you and Reels you in. I enjoyed it even though I. Would have preferred if the authour didn't explain too much on some issues but generally it's better than some books I have read here with long boring and annoying chapters and characters. It's a good read. Well done.

Having adored NL:SC, I had to immediately read the author's second novel. I was not disappointed. The author is extremely talented. The characters are intelligent and have depth. I love the relationships, insights, and action. I'm such a huge fan of this amazing author. 🥰❤❤❤❤

The characters are so well designed that you can become fond of them. The story was fine but in my personal opinion very rushed and felt a bit forced at times. Nevertheless I enjoyed it and I recommend it.

NL:SC become a part of my everyday life from the previous year until it ends this year. Thankfully, author wrote this book as soon as the other book close to its end. It didn't feel that heavy having finishing reading a book to its successful completion. ( ◜‿◝ ) These are the reason why: 1. I'm happy to read the older and more matured characters from NL:SC. 2. Lianne as the FL is sure an interesting read because of her so unique circumstances and disposition in addition to her complex and overpowered background ;) 3. We also knew the family matter of the ML Kai from the previous book and what he undergone to be the person he is now. 4. NL:SC is like all around genre. From action, mystery to personal conflicts, family and love. However, I'm not sure but from the early chapters, we can see that Courage to Love is more on slice of life and interrelationships settings. It's more humorous and lighter to read. Though, I'm anticipating if there will be an action scenes since both Lianne and Kai have extraordinary bg. Now, I'm looking forward how Lianne and Kai conquers all for love because of their differences in almost every aspect of their lives. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
