Chapter 1: Divine Overseer
Alex was like many people in the middle of their university degrees, not knowing what life will be like following its completion at the end of the year. He played sports regularly which allowed him to maintain a low body fat body and avoid the aftereffects of junk food. However, everyone who was friends with him and saw him daily did not know that he was a low key otaku and read books and fanfictions for hours every day at home.
On the 17th of September 2017 at 10:30pm at night, Alex was on his way from his last university class via the train. The train was empty and just as he approached his stop a tiny space rift appeared in front of him and sliced his torso from his legs. The last thing he heard before he fell into darkness and bled out was the train conductors last call for people leaving the train.

In a realm of darkness with only the tiniest of flickers of light in the infinite distance, a woman who could destroy multiverses with a thought was sifting through the realms looking for a morally legit excuse to move a mortal from one world to another. Even though she is the strongest being in existence, she still is morally bound.
"Ooo look at that poor fellow. His death is a 1 in a quintillion chance of happening. Poor fellow. Let's see what he has to say"

Alex came to consciousness within a black room. He was unsure of where he was and how he got there but there was a more pressing issue.
"I thought I died. I saw my lower half across the train before I passed out. What the heck happened?"
A soft and motherly voice rang out inside his head, "Alex everything is fine. I brought you into my realm as compensation for your unlucky death. Or would it be called rewarded? Anyways, I am the Overseer, tasked by myself to ensure that civilizations across existence flourish and continue on through evolution."
"So, you are like god then?" Alex replies baffled with what he is hearing.
"Not quite. I would be closer to the god of god if you were using your Earth religion." The Overseer replies almost as if she was expecting the reply.
"Oh... Okay then..." He murmurs, slowly returning from his shock.
The overseer continues on "Ok, let's get started then, shall we? Due to your unlucky death I have generously decided to reincarnate you into whatever world you wish for. I will create your own parallel universe if you so wish as to enter a fictional universe allowing you to do whatever you want. But be warned, you will most likely never see me again so if you destroy your universe that is it."
"What really!!!!! Oh my overseer! Could... could I go to Douluo Dalu please? It's been a constant joy of mine back on Earth and I always wished I could live there."
"Yes, Douluo Dalu is a place you can reincarnate to. What timeline would you like to be born in? I will also allow you to choose the look of your body you will have once you turn 25. And what the hell, have 5 wishes too. You didn't have a very fulfilling life last time so maybe you can make something of yourself this time."
"I would like to be born in Douluo Dalu 3 timeline, the same age as Tang Wulin.
For my first wish could I have Titan God and Dragon God bloodlines sealed within me, in the same way as Tang Wulin did except without time requirements.
Secondly, I would like a cultivation technique that can improve my body, spiritual energy, my soul and spirit power.
For my third wish I uhhhh.... I would like to have dual mental spirit essences. I want to focus in that as Douluo Dalu 2 was so cool.
I would like to have a system that gives me access to an internal spirit pagoda and also allows me to purchase artificial spirit bones, artificial soul rings, herbs and metals that are found in the universe for my fourth wish.
And finally, would it be possible for me to create a weapon using whatever materials and items I want in this realm and have it stay with me forever?" Alex asks, taking a big breath after his quick talking.
"Woah, a little greedy don't you think? Those wishes are all pushing the boundaries of what you can have but I can't be bothered to correct them so enjoy. What type of weapon would you like for your final wish? You can use any sources of ideas from any universe however I will restrict you to no guns and the weapon cannot transform into another weapon."
"Oh... okay thanks miss.
Well umm I was thinking a trident, looking like the one Aqua man had in the DC universe? I would it to be made from an alloy of Amazonium from DC, Vibranium, Uru and Adamantium from Marvel and a bunch of Gold of Life from Douluo Dalu to give it consciousness.
Could you maybe give it a soul that would age with me and allow it to transform into a humanoid shape as that isn't another weapon per say, allowing it to function as a normal human matching my own cultivation and learn things?"
"Yes, that is acceptable. Anything else you want to add to it? I will have it be able to be stored within your spiritual sea and can enter there at will"
"Ooo ooooo I know. What about if there was one beast soul core in each of the trident's prongs and one in the shaft to allow it to control and use various elements and powers."
"That's actually pretty interesting of an idea. What did you have in mind?"
"How about a Mythological space serpent Jormungand in the left prong, a primordial fire phoenix in the centre prong and a celestial panther in the right prong that uses photon energy kind of like Captain Marvel in Marvel however with full control and manipulation of all types of photon energy! And then an enhanced version of the Mountain Dragon King from Douluo Dalu in the shaft to give the weapon gravity control."
"Very well Alex. All that is left is to choose your future looks and you will be on your way."
"Hmmm.... so how about brown eyes with a yellow glow around the pupil so it is like a solar eclipse. I would like my hair to be silver. Make me 6'3 and with a muscly swimmer body type so I don't bulk up from my bloodlines too much. No one wants a hulk body.... That should be it, I think? Yeah that's it!"
"Ok, very well. You will awaken your memories the day of your spiritual awakening. Have a good life and don't die. I don't often reincarnate people with as many gifts and time as I did you." She exclaimed as she flicked her finger sending Alex's soul flying through a crack in space into the belly of a woman in the Douluo Dalu 3 world.

Let me know of your ideas for the future. His system has access to any and all mythological beast however I have a keen interest in Norse, Greek and Roman so most of my beasts will come from there or some that already exist within the universe.
The system offers him no abilities or powers aside from what was wished for.
