Chapter 72: Chapter 72: The Shadow And The Monkey

In a simulation that was created by the system with a setting that was set in Ionia, a sound of clashing weapons against weapons could be heard being resounded out from one building after the next
With a crash both Shun and Zed were having a bout as they clashed with blades against blades repeatedly in a high speed exchanges
With a slash coming from Shun, Zed himself immediately dived into his own shadow and appeared at the building next to the one that was Shun's standing upon
After that with a jump Zed fished out two shuriken behind him and threw it directly towards Shun who easily deflected such an attack before disappearing once more into the shadows
Just as he was about to plan to chase out Zed, Wukong immediately emerged from beneath him and swung it's huge stick and slam it against Shun's stomach
Luckily Shun was able to react in time to defend himself just by a few inches, but the recoil from such attack sent him crashing back towards one of the structures below
From that fall Wukong seemed to laugh at him like what a monkey do when seeing a pathetic appearance
Apparently in order to not let himself lose some edges in fighting strong opponent's, Shun would always go against 2v1 with his Champions with a goal of 100%complete mastery and also acquire their skills
"You seemed to be enjoying yourself" he stated
"Why? Is it wrong?" Asks Wukong while tilting his head
Hearing that Shun pushed himself off the ground to stabilize his position
"Nope nothings wrong, just that your laugh is quite irritating, well it's to be expected from a chimp"
"I see... . . But taunts are useless against me you know" said Wukong as he swiftly showed off his maneuvering of the stick from his grasp
"I know"
Without a prior notice Shun quickly spewed out a mouthful of flames towards Wukong, which caught the latter off guard
"Flame Breath!, Courage!"
At the same time he immediately activated his full defense as Zed took this leeway of an opening to slip through his surveillance and attacking from behind
From one strike, Zed was able to break the barrier that Shun has put up
So retracting his flames Shun quickly made a high he commotion by using one huge attack to create a chance for him to back away
"Demacian Justice!!!, Void Assault!!!"
Upon casting a huge sword to fall from the sky, Shun immediately disappeared just at the exact time that Wukong appeared from the smokes above and hammered down his stick
"He disappeared!!!" Exclaimed Wukong
About a mile away from him Shun suddenly reappeared as he sent another attack towards Zed
"Bola strike!!!"
Catching him off guard, Zed's eyes widened in shock after the reappearance of Shun near him range
Using Statik Shun swing it at full force causing zed to be sent flying about towards the next building
In between that time frame Shun quickly let's go of his Statik and instantly equipped his Stormrazor on his waist as he activated another ability
"Last breath!!!"
With a dash Shun assaulted Zed with fury of slashes and finalizing it with a huge slash aiming towards its guts
Unfortunately upon landing unto the ground all that Shun heard was the crisp sound of metal hitting the pavement of the floor as only a shadow could be seen at the previous position where zed was supposed to be killed
"Deathmark!!!"
Surprisingly Zed at the very last moment activated his ultimate thus submerging himself into his shadow and splitting bit three ways
With dash Shun tried it's best to block it's attack, but since he was going up against a shadow, Zed's attack swiftly and successfully implanted a ticking Deathmark on Shun
When he turned around to deliver a blow to Zed, an explosion rung out from his body that sent him crashing down with sever Injury
"Gah!!!"
Seeing him downed like that Zed intended to finish Shun off when suddenly the latter immediately once more vanished bit not through invisibility but through instant teleportation
"Shunpo!!!"
Appearing miles away from Zed while clutching his injured self, he immediately sigh a heavy breath as he put his back against the wall and waited it's wound healing itself using Garen's passive
(Perseverance)
Which makes him regenerate upon inactivity of being damaged for quite awhile
"As expected I'm completely cornered by those two... One is at most intangible due to it's shadow, while the other one is as hard as a stone cause of it's passive... . . I'm completely at a disadvantage here" he stated himself
With beads of sweats all over his body, it was already apparent by observing the destruction and how tired Shun was to know just how long has the fight been going on now
"This... . . Is taking longer than expected"
To not lose track of the time he spent here, Shun quickly opened up his system and took a peak at the length of time he used to spend Inside this simulation

Looking at the time Shun realized that he
already spent half an hour just going head to toe against this champions
Apparently this was his third try of challenging both Wukong and zed in a day and unfortunately all of his battles were loses against them
He was expecting to lose this match once more
Just as he thought about such an idea himself, Wukong came flying in with his stick as he blown away the sector in which Shun was hiding by one swing of his stick
Stumbling about on the ground Shun eventually felt an ominous air of killing intent as he looked up only to see Zed thrusting his blade towards him
Equipping I.E he quickly retaliated with a swing from above causing another shockwave to blow them away from each other
With that Wukong quickly pulled out some strand of his hair and blew it towards Shun
Unexpectedly those hair that was blown away by Wukong himself, immediately turned into his clones numbering about ten of them with all of them laughing simultaneously like a crowd
Holding the stick on their hand, they immediately assaulted Shun in all sides as they brought an unrelenting attack one after another
Of course being outnumbered wasn't new for Shun but the only difference now was that he was fighting against his champions who have gone back to the way the orginally are thanks to the system and not sticking much to the games restrictions
After hammering him with the hard magic stick all over his body, he was in the end left bare handed as the clones took away his weapon by attacking his hand
With no more choice but to surrender, shun eventually accepted his defeat thus making the system announce his lose and quickly returned his consciousness back to its original state inside the Gritonnia Academy
Upon waking up, for some reason Shun could atleast feel out the sore that was running amok all over his body
Luckily the system was not that kind of degenerate and immediately allowed him to access the shop to immediately but off packs of health potions
After gulping the down till it's lost drop, Shun in turn tried to come up with a great idea to overwhelm them while also keeps Ng in mind about the upcoming continuation of the selection matches
If lucky Shun might be able to fight off someone strong enough tomorrow morning or more accurate later in the morning
Looking at the the clock his realized that the time was already past midnight, thus he decided to call it a day and rest his body in turn to.not look sluggish in the next class this morning
"Well it's not like I'm in a hurry or anything... . . But if I pluck out my hair, will I be able to create clones too? Won't I go bald?"
With this question ending his day, he slowly thought about it until he fall asleep
