When Shun said those words, the book itself suddenly glowed so bright as it releases two beams of light before fading and revealing two champions that Shun summoned
"It's been awhile since I've gotten out, and we're in a arena? Master are we performing?" Asks Yuumi
"There's so many people" muttered Shyvana
In response to this Shun just simply patted them as he told both Yuumi and Shyvana the situation
When they heard everything that Shun has to say, they slowly nodded their heads before turning their gaze at Cedric who was not far from him
As for Cedric his eyes grew wide as he didn't expect Shun as a combat efficient person was able to use Summoning magic, thus only means Shun wasn't a mage nor a warrior, but a Summoner all this time
Since the role called Summoner was so rare like a gem, all of the audience were stunned as they rubbed their eyes after seeing two people talking to Shun and was in the arena chatting with him
One was a floating cat, while one was a blonde beautiful blue armored lady
Even the instructors and professors were surprised as some were shaking while having a smile on their faces

Soon they started exchanging blows after blows but as time passes Cedric's movements became much faster than Shyvana which forced the latter to take a defensive position

As Shyvana said that a rotating fire circle started to spread around her as Cedric immediately took notice off and back away
"Puncture!!!"
In turn as Cedric landed he quickly casted a spell which shot out the moment he thrusted his sword and pierced to Shyvana's shoulder before dragging her far away to crash unto the wall
At that time he quickly activated his ring of swords as a defensive means when Shun suddenly appeared beside him in a incredible speed
After one strike Yuumi blasted Cedric away with "rapid prowling projectile" before having Shun shift his position in an instant the moment the latter tried to retaliate
Of course Cedric wasn't weak at all, since he's a reincarnator, that would have only mean that he have grown stronger way before the original story just to prevent a bad end from happening
Shun doesn't even know he's reason for it, but he would know soon the moment he defeated him and get some answers from the person himself
With incredible speed Shun this time begin exchanging blows against Cedric which created shockwaves everytime they clashed strength against each other
As Cedric became faster as time delays, Shun too matches this as he grows faster and faster in movements

Once more they created another commotion as dragons were just as rare as summoner in this world thus creating another topic for the gossips
As Shyvana dived in Cedric immediately pushed Shun away as he dodged that "flame Breath of Shyvana
Unfortunately as he did a other stream of flame came running at him which engulfed him whole

As that same time Shun also used that ability as he saw Cedric retreated
While for Yuumi she also used her ability

When she did, Cedric was immediately struck as he loss his freedom of movement which shocked him even more

Not letting up for the opportunity at hand Shun stabbed the ground as a huge sword descended from above and struck Cedric below creating one huge steam of explosion which shook the arena
Not only that Shyvana continued to breath fire without stopping at the spot where the sword landed which put a grim expression on the students witnessing such attack
Everyone thought that the prince was done for but Shun clearly stated on guard as this was taught to him by his champions that he should never let his guard down no matter what
Just as he expected a shiny going suddenly emerged from the flames as a huge bright Mana pillar rose to the sky and Pierce's the clouds above which shook everyone's soul
"I knew it! Since he's a reincarnator, he must have a power that transcends boundary... Never underestimate people like them" muttered Shun as he expected this to happen
Suddenly as he said that a huge killing intent suddenly spreads out which stunned everyone on their places, this too stunned Shun as sweat trickled down his face
After that when the light disappeared he suddenly saw rows after rows of sword of light hovering above Cedric that is purely mad out of Mana which exuded from the latter's body
With a single command from Cedric numerous Mana swords suddenly shot out from the rows and struck Shyvana down in different joints causing her to crash to the ground
But this didn't end just like that as Shun quickly made his way through this wave of swords as he activated his book once more and summoned another champion
"Summon!!!"
This time three more beams of light emerged and revealed three champions Lux, Ahri, and Wukong
With that Shun immediately gave out his order
"Lux! Clear a way for me and shield me up, Wukong provide cover for me... Fight numbers with numbers... Ahri! Bring as close as you can to that guy"
With a nod everyone started to move out as the swords started to rain on them
With a slide Lux took a side and started to gather Mana as her staff rotated infront of her rapidly

With that casted a straight beam of light suddenly enveloped a huge margin infront of her which cleared Shun's path towards Cedric
Taking this chance Ahri put Shun on her embrace and quickly dashed forward by continouesly using "Spirit Rush"
At that time Wukong casted his ability too
"Warrior's Trickster!"
With that he created hundred of clones of him as they covered Shun's path, while some used another spell to fling the sword away
"Cyclone!!!"
If one would observe from their spectators seats, they would notice that the situation inside the arena has became quite chaotic ad one relies on his one man army spell, while the other is using his summon Spells to cover him
Which each unique way of fighting and spell, everyone was on the edge of their seats as they clenched their fist with an anticipation on who will win this match
This last match for that day actually hooked the crowd so much that they begin to roar in support on who either side would win
With the brining desires of both participants to win, this in turn sparks the fire in the competitive heart of gold everyone which shook the arena
"Go prince Cedric! Beat him!!!"

On the other hand, other people also supported Shun, especially the people who knew him

The arena was going wild with cheers as both participants poured out all they can just to get each other to surrender

Meanwhile as everything was going wild outside, inside the arena however was also chaotic as Ahri tried her very best to dodged the sword that were raining down like crazy
As they got closer to Cedric however the sword kept getting faster and more accurate as Ahri begun to falter
Soon after a looming death suddenly pressured them which made Ahri decide a specific move that would save Shun
With strength gathering in her arm she threw shun forward which surprised the latter
But as Ahri did that the swords begun to rain on her which stabbed her in all side and killed her eventually
Luckily she was a summoned champions this she returned to the book as her cooldown time begun to countdown
As Shun stumbles he somehow immediately received a barrier from Lux at the exact moment before she too got riddled with swords all over
Soon one by one Wukong's clones begun to disappear as Wukong couldn't hold any longer and got killed in the process of fighting the swords
Left with no choice Shun quickly dashed forward while also taking account the sword that were falling from above
With each swing, he begin to analyze those sword as he moved faster and faster with each counter
From then Yuumi in turn got hit by a sword as she covered for Shun and had returned to the book the moment she died
Without losing momentum Shun jumped up and decided to just give Cedric a one huge slash to the chest
But at that moment swords begun surrounding him from all sides which stunned him
In a nick of time however Shyvana the last one remaining champion burned the swords around Shun as a last retaliation before getting riddled with the swords herself and died in the process
Tightly gripping I.E and Statik Shiv on both hands Shun slashed down his sword with great force, unfortunately when he did that Cedric too formed a sword on his own and countered Shun's attack
With one collision it created a huge shockwaves which destroyed the other swords and slammed against the barrier that was protecting the audience
With it Shun begun releasing his Mana even more, which in turn copied by Cedric as he pumped more Mana into his attack
As too sides tried their best to subdue the other, a sharp sound suddenly rung out which silenced everyone in anticipation
Shun's weapons were starting to break at the same time as Cedric's sword begun to crumble
But not letting up both Shun and Cedric still poured Mana unto their weapon as they pushed through to the end
With a sharp cumbling sound Cedric sword broke first followed by Shun's I.E and Statik Crumbling into tiny pieces which stunned everyone as they taught of a draw
At that same time the referee started to raise his hand to end the match in a draw when suddenly everyone's pupil constricted as they saw Shun started moving again a few seconds before falling
He quickly positioned himself as he placed his hand over his shoulders and equipped Botrk and slashed his sword across Cedric chest
With that last attack Cedric fell unto the floor with a shock expression and stunned everyone in the crowd, followed by the sound of Shun falling down quite exhausted on his own
Luckily the referee was there to heal Cedric of his wounds before setting it's sight unto Shun and pulled him up
"Winner Kurosaki, Shun"
At first silenced permeated the place before as if a bomb everyone roared as they cheered and congratulated the winner
Unfortunately the match was a freestyle thus such victory won't matter if Shun didn't get picked, if it was popularity match then surely he would've have won
With a smile Sephiria happily waved at Shun together with Aria and the rest of the guys
Cheers were everywhere as they spared throughout the stadium
This gotten ever more louder as Cedric rose from his laid position and stand beside Shun as he realized that healing magic was really a wonder
"Healing magic... Really a convenient ability right?" Asked Shun
"True!" Replied Cedric
After that Cedric said
"Well I guess you've won based on luck"
"Thanks! I couldn't have done it without my fans... But anyway..." Joked Shun
"Fans my ass! But I'll keep my promise" said Cedric
"Great! But I think it was the power of friendship that got me the win"
"Power of what?... That's bullshit!..."
"Hahaha! I know... I'm messing with you"
"What does power of friendship relate to strength? If that were the case then there shouldn't have been war in the first place"
"Well... I don't know man... Seems kinda sus to me"
"....."
Even thought they still joked it aside, there were no hard feelings from this match between them
With a shake both Shun and Cedric accepted the result thus ended the whole match
What Shun didn't know was that Cedric would reveal next to him about the future that would lead him to an even bigger picture and more dangerous that could cost his life in the process he fails to stop it
But that would be a story for another time
