Synopsis
Due to his failure to buy a gaming helmet needed to play virtual reality games, the malovent-looking Li Huailin steels his heart and DIYs a homemade gaming pod to play the new online game, Heart of Glory.
To his surprise, he ends up creating a bug with his in-game character.
Others kill monsters for experience, but he gets negative experience from killing monsters.
Others earn money and gain experience from completing missions, but he gets experience and money deducted from completing missions.
As he begins believing that there's no point playing this game again, he dies—only to have a windfall of experience. He comes to a realization…
He will not die if he doesn't court death!

tbh it is kinda boring. maybe if you havent read many mmorpg novels you might find it good, but it is same old cliches with slight twist. all buffs turn into debuffs and all debuffs turn into buffs. poison gives health, restoration takes it. comedy is meh and it just turns into another unbalanced mmorpg protagonist with possible harem. i would rate it half a star better than average mmorpg novel on this site.

Idk about others but I found this novel hilarious. It's similar to another vrmmorpg novel with a white hair protagonist which I don't remember the name of but better. Feel free to disagree to me

Finally!!! I've been waiting for QIDIAN pick this novel ever since i've read it! The novel is very funny, well built... One of my fav novels. Ps: I've read until chap. 42 before was dropped in another site.
This book is quite unique and interesting. Here, the MC basically is a BUGed character and the way his bug works is something fresh and quite funny to read. If you are still hesitating whether to read this or not, trust me you'll have fun. It is one of the better picks in this week's trial read. Totally worthy of getting selected.

Its slapstick comedy and it's not bad, but I can only take so much literal face slapping. Our MC builds his own virtual device and logs on to skynet. And as a result things are reversed for him.

So Webnovel remplace this story and Dimensional Codex by trash random novel who people don't really care... Very sad for a VRMMO novel who is good without ugly chinese nationalism. I'm really disappointed by this website..
Honestly, this novel isn't that amazing. That being said, I believe it is much better than the other novels available for trial read right now, which is why I'm leaving this review. It's more of a comedy novel, with decent humor

I'm caught up with the Translations. I am sure I'm not the only one who waited years for this Novel to translate. I was very confused at first and thought it had similarities until I realize it was actually "All Things Wrong." I thought this would be a crafting novel. I won't speak out of bias since I still don't know whether this novel is good or not but from what I can see everything is well written so far. Mysterious plot, hilarious cast of characters, and loving this MC. I'm still uncertain what the Author trying to do but I hope there's Romance with 'Misty Rain' as you can see potential development. At first, she was cold but slowly warming up to MC.[img=coins] I also hope the Author utilizes his characters well. That's a big flaw in VR Chinese novels. They start off good but then become something stupid later.
