The Emperor’s First Love

Finally, a female heir is born in the house of Duke's and Knights. The ancient contract can finally be fulfilled.

"Once a female heir is born in the House of Arquilie, she will be recognized as the future Empress of East. She will marry into the house of De Morgues."

For generations, there were only men born in the House of Arquilie, serving the Royal Family, House of De Morgues, as the empire's most powerful weapon. The contract could not be fulfilled to unite the two strongest household as House of Arquilie could not be blessed with a female heir.

The emperor once said, " My son, it is your duty to marry the Future Empress as this is your condition to be Emperor."

Now, Emerald, the first generation, female heir of House of Arquilie , was promised to marry the Crowned Prince, First Prince Calisto. Emperor Callen had given the two permission to marry when Emerald reaches the age of 18.

One day, the Emperor commanded that the Crown Prince leave the country for a mission giving his First son two years to return, postponing the marriage between the two houses. More than 2 years later, the Emperor became ill while the Crown Prince is still away.

"Is Calisto finally coming back? I have been waiting all this time!"

Emerald had to ask as she was excited of the news that the marriage will finally be happening as she will be turning 20 years old. But the truth was far from her expectation as the Second Prince turns out to become her marriage partner, asking her hand for marriage.
