Synopsis
Gifted a candle that was said to make wishes come true, Alice Clemente burned it to find herself awake in a different world. She had wished for a life of adventure away from the city and its routine. With her wish granted, she was no longer in the 21st century and was instead lost in the middle of the Kingdom of Gladiolum, a place reminiscent of the 1800s.
With luck, she soon gained connections to the rich and powerful of this new world— the nobility. However, how much of it was good and how much of it would eventually be detrimental? After all, mingling with royals not only meant extravagance and daily parties. It also meant warfare and death.
Caught in the middle of the two princes and other nobles, Alice would soon have to face the battle between those two royal brothers― a fight for the throne.
She had wished for adventure, after all, and she received just as such.
Kept in the center of all this, would Alice be able to emerge from the rabbit hole unscathed? Or will the overwhelming troubles of love and war be too much for her to bear?

i absolutely love this story and I'm so glad i stumbled upon this! it is sooo beautifully written...the author really has a way with words...the plot is so interesting and intriguing from the very first page, and all the characters bring life to the entire story...I'm not even halfway through this but i can say for certain that it is one of the best that I've read in many mobile reading platforms! well done dear author!!!❤❤❤
I've stumbled on this story by accident, and I binged through 20 chapters in one go because it's. Just. That. Good. I love the writing style and how everything is slowly unfolding! And the multiple male leads for our precious FL! And how this is technically an Isekai, but at the same time, executed so refreshingly! Looking forward to reading the rest of it!

I rarely review books on this app but when I do, it's because of how amazingly well-written a story is! A thrilling new take on the story of 'Alice'. What is typically seen as "overdone" has been transformed into brand new and enthralling! Spectacular job, Author 😁
Aurora!! this is simply one of the finest (first-rate) books I've ever read in 2022 no joke 'A Courtyard of Roses' - a story that truly pulls you in from the first chapter, so beautifully and magically penned, I literally ravel your words and highly anticipate every single update! no can I just say, the plot is so so hooking! I absolutely LOVE your writing style!! I really think this books deserves so much more reads and love from readers because the writing is simply top notch, brilliant, fascinating and intricate! your imagination and descriptions are literal wonders- idk how you even do it, I'm in awe every time. One thing I'd like to specially compliment the author is how she is able to weave in some deep and meaningful things in the story, and not just in this story but her other works as well. even if these words seem like small details, they ultimately fill the story with more depth which makes me ponder on the different aspects of life hence, a thought-provoking story as well! To add on, the characters truly have my heart especially Spade - I love him so much!!! I haven't written any reviews on any books yet as I'm fairly new to Webnovel so this will be my first review ever! And while I've only just begun reading this story, so far I am hooked! The writing style is beautiful, and I love the story telling. The plot is intriguing so far. This is one of the best novels I've come across here so far! Can't wait to keep reading more! :D
Absolutely love the characters. The wolrd is interesting. Like how there are a few Alice in Wonderland references, but not too much. Not too predictable. Like it very much.

I‘ve been following this author from Wattpad to Inkitt and now Webnovel and although having to wait every day for a new chapter is a bit annoying… I wouldndo anything for the story, the characters and the author. I love the writing style, how the author depicts every single detail and every friendship and relationship Alice has formed with every character. From the very beginning, a Courtyard of Roses manages to hook you up and leave you wanting to read more. The characters are insanely beautifully written and the world-building as well. All in all, this is a 10/10!! Totally would recommend to anyone.[img=update]
