Chapter 4: Everytime I Look Into Your Eyes, I Get Lost

"Aunt, you should calm down" a tall thin lady walked in. She had long-thin white legs, delicate fingers and beautiful arms. Her hair was long and wavy. She wore a black bodycon dress.

She turned and smiled, "Mina, you are back" she walked to her and gave her a tight hug.

"Aunt, if you continue to shout like that, you will get hypertension" she smiled

Mina, a 19 years old young lady who had been in the USA ever since she left the Philippines. She was living with the Torres family before she left the country. Her mother, Mrs Sharon was Mrs Torres best friend that was why Mrs Torres loved her so much.

"Those workers, they are really pain in the neck. They were to produce three types of shoe but they failed" she sighed

CarpeDiem Torres was one of the best show making company in the Philippines. Mina was getting bored by the story Mrs Torres was telling her so she changed the topic

"Aunt, where is Chad?"

"Chad is at school. Don't worry, he will be back by evening"

"I can't really wait to see him" she smiled.

The last time she saw Chad was when she was 9 years old. He was cold and arrogant. He didn't care about anybody except from his parents. When ever she triesd to talk to him, he would turn a deaf ear to whatever she said, but she did not still give up. The day she was leaving for US, he did not even tell her goodbye. She looked at his window several times but he did not show up.

In the evening at San Jose national school.

As expected, Chad was already waiting for her at the entrance of the school. He came down from his car, opened the back seat door for her and bow. Everybody was stunned. Did he just bow to her? What is happening?

She smiled and entered the car and then, she remembered something, "Johanna. Where is Johanna?" before Chad could say anything, she has gotten down from the car to look for Johanna. After three minutes of searching , she finally found Johanna.

"Johanna, where have you been?" she asked in a tiring voice

"Have you been waiting for me?"

"Yes, chad and i"

"I can sense Chad is angry"

Chad was still standing in the same position she left him.

"He is not angry at you, but at me because I left him here like this"

"What! You left him here standing like this! You shouldn't have made him suffer. You should have just left without me"

Rachel turned to Chad and said politely, " I am sorry" then she bow politely.

He placed his big palm on her head, "You are forgiven. Don't do that again"

"Yes master" she smiled at him and he smiled back.

Truth be told , Chad was not actually angry, he just didn't know whether to follow her or stay.

"Hey, are we not going home?" Johanna immediately asked to stop those two romantic moment.

"No, we are staying here" of course, that came from Chad.

"What!"

"I mean, we are going home" he said and began to laugh.

They hopped into the car and the driver drove off.

In the jaguar XE

Rachel rested her head on Chad's shoulder with their fingers interlocked. Johanna stole a glance at them.

"Ahem, Ahem" she coughed dryly.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Rachel raised her head. She turned her head to look at Johanna.

"Can you two please, dont be romantic here. I don't have a boyfriend here"

"What about Josh? Did you talk to him today?"

"What the heck! I don't like Josh!" she said and her face became red like ripe tomato.

"You are blushing.....hahaha...i knew it. You like him" she said and began to laugh

"Screw you"

"Rachel, I brought a dress for you" Chad interrupted them.

"What dress?" she turned her head to look at his face. He brought out a Whilmas shopping bag and gave it to her,."Wear it. I will pick you up in 30 minutes time so get your self ready"

"Huh..."

"Just do it"

"Okay"

The car came to stop at napsan, palawan . Johanna and Rachel got down from the car, then Chad said, "Get your self ready, I have a surprise for you" then he rolled the window up and the car left.

"What are you waiting for? Go get your self ready. It might be a huge surprise" Johanna dragged Rachel Inside.

At the Torres mansion.

The maids were setting the table when Chad came in. Mina turned her head and saw a familiar figure .

"Chad! Chad!" she immediately ran to him and hugged him tightly. He didn't hug her back, he just removed her hand from his neck.

"What are you doing here?" his voice was cold and it was clearly different from the way he spoke with Rachel.

"I will be staying here from now" she said with a smile on her face

"What!" His eyes suddenly widened

"Yes, don't you like it" she smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. He immediately removed her hand and said, "Don't touch me!"

"Why? I thought you would have changed all this years but it seems like you need someone in your life that will change you completely".she said still smiling

Mina did not know that there was already somebody in his life that had changed him. The only person he will never get angry at. Rachel might be a poor mere worked but she was calm.

Back then, whenever Chad got angry and shouted at her, she won't say anything. She was still calm.

"That's none of your business" he pushed her away and left.

"Chad, are you not eating?" his mom asked

"I am not eating" he said without turning back

"Aunt, why is Chad like that?"

"Don't mind him maybe he got into a fight with his friends" she forced a smile on her face.

"Okay, i will take his food to him" she began to pack some food into the plate and headed towards his room, but suddenly, he came out. He was dressed in a white coloured suit.

"Son, where are you going to?"

"I am going somewhere important. Don't wait up for me, okay" he said and left the house. Mina with the food in her hand was furious. "Where could he be going to this night?"

At napsan, palawan.

Chad's car was already parked outside waiting for Rachel to come out. He got down from the car and walked to the house. Just as he was about to knock, the door opened. Rachel came out wearing a beautiful white wrapped around dress and a white lace flowered shoe. Her hair was half up loop. She had little makeup on and her lips were ruby red. Chad looked at her from up to down and said, "You look very beautiful" she lowered her head and her face blushed.

"Come on, let me say hello to your mother" after saying hello to her, they left.

At the hills.

Rachel was putting on a red blind fold while Chad held her hand and led her to the hills. She didn't know where she was so she asked...

"Where are we?"

"You will know soon"

They finally came to stop. He removed the blind fold. The moon was shinning bright and they can hear the cold breezy wind blowing. Suddenly, a light came up and it displayed 'I LOVE YOU'. She turned to her left and saw a table filled with flowers, drinks and food. The table was decorated with red and different colors of light. She turned to look at Chad with a teary eyes

"Don't you like it?" he said as he looked into her eyes.

"I don't like it"

"..."

"I love it" she immediately hugged him tightly

He was happy when she said she loved it. Even she said she does not like it , he will get another place for her. He will spoil her.

"Hey, don't spoil this moment with your tears" he took out a tissue from his pocket and wiped her tears. They walked to the table. He drew out a chair for her and she sat on it. He took the rose flower placed on the table and gave it to her.

There were so many dishes on the table: beef enchiladas, cheesy rice and broccoli casserole, jalapeno chicken mac nehees and salad.

"You should eat" he smiled at her and place cheesy rice and broccoli casserole on her plate and she began to eat it slowly while chad watched this cute girl eat. Then, she could feel that an eye she watching her. He has not even touched his food. Is he not bored looking at a girl eating.

"Why are you looking at me?"

"Everytime I look into your eyes, I get lost. I believe that you were meant to look only at me and I only at you"

She blinked three times and lowered her head and she began to Blush
