Chapter 170: Run-Aways Part 1

"You moron! How can you only get two horses?!" Britille shouted as she glared at Rutley. "Well," Rutley said as he averted his gaze. "There's no time." Calder said in an irritated tone as he mounted one of the black stallions. "Calder's right, we'll need to ride doubles and pray that it we'll be able to get away." Syria said as she tried to move towards the other stallion but Calder quickly caught her and pulled her onto his horse. 

"Rutley move already!" Calder growled before he kicked his horse and went ahead, leaving a dumbfounded Britille in the dust. "What the hell Calder?!" Syria hissed as she looked back. "Did you want me to ride doubles with someone other than you?" Calder asked with a raised eyebrow. "The point was to leave as soon as possible not have a romantic date." Syria replied with a murderous tone.
