Chapter 36: Episode 34
Zhuang swept the place before getting a rug and cleaning off the tiles. He had the whole house cleaned up, it actually looked like a house for once, instead of a deserted haunted place.
He grabbed a water bucket and walked down to the secret lab starting to assemble a thing or two. He grabbed the files lying spread on the table gathering them at one place when his eyes fell upon something and widened. He reached his hand trying to grab it when suddenly Alex came outta nowhere pulling it away
"What are you doing here?" Alex said with his calm subtle fake smile.
"You.." Zhuang's eyes were still wide open, he didn't blink.
"I guess, you saw? tch.." Alex mumbled "remember that time I told you I was infertile?" Alex smiled widely
"You can't..?" Zhuang questioned
"Not anymore..." Alex said and stepped closer to Zhuang "I guess Aoi chan's pheromones weren't compatible with me for this procedure..I almost gave up...."
Alex grinned taking Zhuang's hand and placing it on his stomach, he whispered to Zhuang,
"Thank you for finally giving me what I've wanted for so long..."

"Natsu you okay in there? You've been in there for a while?" Dad knocked at my door
"I'm fine dad! just homework!" I immediately responded, thank goodness I locked the room, I can't face anyone right now
"Well okay..but don't stress yourself out" He sounded worried, sheesh, he's such a worry wart, how do I ever make him relaxed.
My lips still feel like her, we kissed alot..I guess its starting to feel normal to do that....and my neck..she bit at the collar..She must've wanted to...but...she already had the key, why didn't she just do that by force..
Not that I'm saying that I want her to do that..just innocent wondering..Ah...thank goodness I wasn't wearing glasses, seeing her face clearly would've embarrassed me more!
But then again, I couldn't see her face clearly..what kind of expression was she making when she confessed to me? her heartbeat was crazy but I never got to see her face, she seemed so normal on the surface..She's always been like that, I can never tell what's going beyond the surface...
No..that is not enough...I'm trying to bring back her memories and I don't even know what I'm trying to bring back...whatever she did, she must've reasons, maybe not remembering is the best for her? I need to find out about her first..
I need to find out what kind of person she is exactly...
I need to know...
...how she fell for someone like me in the first place?

"So you had lied to me when I asked what happened to natsuro back then and now you got yourself in a mess huh..?"
Akio raised a brow.
"It seems like I was being used..I probably mistook it for something different..I'm so pathetic..well I kind of deserve it" Zhuang whispered covering his face in his hands
"What do you want to do now?" Akio asked in a dry tone while resting his back, standing against the cupboard. Zhuang was seated on the bed.
"I don't know, I have no idea how I feel about this..I guess I got caught up in the moment, he saved Natsuro and I was grateful..I did it in the heat of the moment, I don't blame him, I was weak and he was right in front of me holding out his hand....." Zhuang took a deep sigh " Apparently his family had an accident back when he was young, he was the only one who survived but he took a lot of damage, including the fact that he had no chances of ever having a family again, he made a deal with Himari Aoi, it wasn't money that he wanted from her, just her pheromones..he was performing illegal procedures on her and himself..just to..." Zhaung paused midway being full of guilt.
"Isn't it okay, the guy was desperate to have a family anyway, what is more shocking is that Aoi san agreed to this deal, what did she want in return from him?" Akio frowned.
"I'm not sure but from what I got, she was trying to fix herself or something? something about her not wanting to be an alpha, she was trying to get rid of it" Zhuang couldn't really understand nor explain.
"What do you mean, that's not really possible" Akio replied abruptly.
"No this guy is a genius, I told you he controlled Natsuro's heat just by a serum he had developed out of her pheromones..things didn't even go violent, he's super amazing at it" Zhuang seemed a bit irritated that Akio wouldn't believe him at this.
"This is just so unbelievable, if it's true, it's just messed up" Akio admitted.
"It's true, I saw it all" Zhuang said.
"So? What are you gonna do about this guy" Akio shrugged.
"What do you think?" Zhuang asked.
"I don't know, but I don't think he's looking for a partner, he just wants a kid" Akio said honestly.
"He could've just adopted" Zhuang said with a twitching brow.
"Single omegas can't adopt, they are considered unfit for taking care of a child because of their estrus cycles" Akio told the oblivious guy.
"That is...unfair.." Zhuang mumbled.
"Why thankyou for your realization, the world is unfair to omegas since forever but glad you woke up..you guys were oblivious when the world was unfair to women until they got equal rights by force and now after evolution, you are unfair to omegas and will be until we take what we deserve by force..and then you will find something else to be unfair to, the cycle carries on.." Akio got philosophically triggered by the ignorant comment.
"Don't say that..I really am sorry..I don't know how to fix things anymore.."Zhuang messed up his hair.
"Look..I don't know this guy, but raising a kid isn't like any other self experimentation, he'll need help, if you really want to do something then what you can do is be that help without wanting anything from him in return" Akio explained.
"What do you mean help without anything in return?" Zhuang seemed confused.
"Try being selfless for once, people who help others just to gain something in return are the worst, maybe if you try being selfless for once you will finally start to look human, Keitarou kun always helps others without caring about himself" Akio said turning his face away from Zhuang so the other wouldn't know what expression he made while saying that.
"Are you like trying to show off your boyfriend or something? You know we are totally different people right? he's just the opposite of me" Zhuang said with a twitching brow.
"well you were the one who wanted an advice, I simply told you that if you're trying to impress this guy then learn a thing or two from Keitarou kun" Akio shrugged.
"I'm not trying to impress him or anything" Zhuang got irritated.
"So Natsu gets those self denial tendencies from you huh, you just can't be honest to yourself" Akio shook his head.
"I'm not! I just got caught up in the moment like I said, besides, it is possibly more of a reflex since I got rejected by you" Zhaung tried to logically analyze it.
"You've been rejected by me since ages. Just admit it, you got attracted to the guy and he took advantage of it and now you're pissed because you had hopes and he shattered them" Akio said with a poker face.
"I DO-N-.....do I?" He mumbled under his breath in a low whisper.

What the? the door is open, just how careless is he..? jeez.. well..he's the only one who knows about that woman's childhood so...
"Keitarou san? Are you home?" I helped myself in, well there's no way he left in a hurry and forgot to lock the place or something right? but there's nothing here to steal anyway other then food, this guy just doesn't maintain this place at all does he? so clumsy..
What the..? Who broke the vase? so many shards lying around what if someone steps on it..gosh this is dangerous, I should clear this up...jeez was he in such a hurry that he there's glass all over the place and he left the door open? Ah where is the broom? ugh...oh storage..
I moved to the storage closet and opened the door casually only to have my eyes widen and mouth hung open
"KEITAROU SAN? What are you doing in the closet?!!!!" I almost shivered seeing him all curled up in the corner of the closet like that, his arms and neck were full of scratches and he was peeling his own scabs over and over with the scratching.
He seemed frantic, didn't even meet eyes with me "Kei san please come out, oh gosh! what happened to you?!" I reached my hand, he slapped it away really hard
"DON'T TOUCH ME!! DON'T DON'T DON'T TOUCH ME!" He suddenly yelled and then attacked at me while I defended myself by using my arms as a cover as he sat upon me trying to scratch me or something. He was terrified, I could tell by how cold he was and how purple his lips were.
"You're hurting me!" It hurt ofcourse! he really is scarring my skin there, I have to stop him..but I feel like..if I stop him right now I'll scare him even more... "Kei san!! Kei san! it hurts!" I tried to call out to him while still using my arms to defend my face.
"SHUTUP! SHUTUP! STAY AWAY FROM ME!!" He kept on yelling with his trembling face
At this point I gave in and moved my hands away from my face, he scratched at my cheek but stopped from doing another when he saw my face
"Kei san..." I called him out again, he took a long look at me then suddenly broke to tears, I don't know why I did it but I sat up somehow while he was still sitting on my thighs and hugged him. He kept on sobbing, it's worst than what dad told me..he's completely broken...
"No..." He pulled away from me "Run..he will come..do you hear that? he's coming " He got seriously frantic, it was hard to follow what he was up about, there was obviously no one there..he's lost it.
"Kei san calm down, tell me, who is it? what will they do? I'm here okay? I'll protect you.." I tried to reassure him but he was in no position to respond, he was just frantic.
"Kei chan?! Kei chan are you home?" A female voice called out and within a few seconds Ohara Yuki was in my view, she met eyes with me and was shocked for a few seconds then rushed towards us.
Keitarou moved away from me and rushed to her, she saw the glass piece on the ground and rushed too before Keitarou would step on it and pretty much tripped but she placed her hand on the shard just before keitarou stepped on it, it pierced her skin but she didn't even shriek and got up
"Kei chan I'm here, you are safe" She hugged him tightly and hinted me to clean up the glass mess, somehow I just nodded and followed what she told me to do. She ended up taking Kei san to his bedroom and talking him into resting sitting by him and just talking while he was silent the whole time. After I fixed the mess in the house I came to the room.
He was asleep by that time, clinging onto her like a child. He looked really worn out and tired, the dark circles were too deep as well.
"I don't want to sound offensive but...did you guys do something to him? What happened to him.?" I asked hesitantly.
She stared at me with an unwelcoming frown but eventually her expression relaxed "I didn't think she would do that...I would've stopped her! She paid a guy...I didn't know of it, I swear..I wouldn't have let anyone...to Kei chan.....I would have protected him..!" She replied with her face almost going pale white.
She didn't complete it but somehow I understood it without being said.

Someone like him...? but he...
She trembled with a rigid yet terrified expression herself "I'm..terrified...I ran from Mari and I lied to her, I'm scared, I'm really scared...she can do this to her brother..I'm nothing in front of her....but even if I have to pretend that I'm not scared..I will do it..for Kei chan.." She went whole pale and white, her eyes were wide open too
What is going on at all?
"Yuki san right?" I walked in and sat by the other edge of the bed "Tell me everything..from start till the end..how did everything come to this?"
She seemed terrified by that question too somehow but gulped down hard
"It all started with Haru chan..." She whispered "The son of a maid who used to work in the Kirihara household...and....Mari's fated pair...."
Fated pair huh...?
So she had someone like that too....
"Shall I continue..?"
"Yes, tell me everything!"
