Fun read! I definite recommend others to check it out! FL is smart and learning to be stronger and ML is such a sweetheart! ♥️♥️♥️ the doting is soo cute!!
42 chapters in so far and I'm loving it! FL was hurt terribly in her past life and vows to never love again. But ML is intrigued by her boldness and quickly falls in love. WHAT SETS THIS NOVEL APART THOUGH: 1. ML chases after FL in a respectful way, none of that overbearing forceful stuff 2. ML doesn't overstep her boundaries (even though his social status is higher than hers) 3. FL is smart but doesn't do the "I'll suffer now and get big revenge later", no she deals with annoying people immediately (doesn't fall into traps) 4. FL dad is supportive, none of that evil biological father 5. FL dad doesn't fall into white lotus traps, stepmom and daughter can't step all over him I'm sure there's more that I'm missing, but their relationship is healthy and wholesome. They communicate openly!

***review at 34 chapters with some spoilers** --this review is quite opinionated-- I'm at 34 chapters so far and I feel forced to continue reading, at least the free chapters. It's the typical reincarnation novel and I actually indulge in these novels. While the writing is great and the length of each chapter is long, it still doesn't hook me on. I think it has to do with the pacing of the story and some unrealistic parts of their world. The pacing was good at first but when the ML came in, everything was just *snap snap* all of a sudden feelings, beds, kiss, proposal, etc. It just felt sudden to me, especially when you make out the FL to be smart, state she doesn't want love, and has some trauma over her past life. This all does get addressed throughout but I feel like it gets brushed aside really fast. This makes me feel like the feelings are less genuine and the development is unrealistic. Then when it comes to the settings of the story, it just feels even more unrealistic when the ML gets his way with killing and threatening people openly. While he does have the power, that shouldn't justify everything he does or be used as a mean for the story. The way the FL carries about her revenge on her sister makes me question her IQ sometimes as well. It doesn't satisfy me as much as I thought it would. Apart from that, I do enjoy the support that the leads have for one another. I do like how the ML is smart and doesn't take believe outsiders easily. That just makes for less of unnecessary arguments/misunderstandings for the leads. I will probably try continuing to see if my opinion changes. Wished I could have enjoyed it as much as the rest of the reviews though but I've read too many novels and I feel like it's time to be critical to find one worthwhile to read.
So far I really liked the pacing and characters. I would definitely recommend it. I can't wait to read more! I know it's still early but keep up the good work author! I have read some of your other stories in the past but I think this is a new favorite.

I've read to chapter 113. The concept of this novel is pretty good. The things that made me stop reading it are: 1. Foul language, waaay too much. It's in the arena of crude and vulger. 2. The way the females (including some men) are treated. Even as revenge motivation, it's just too much for me. 3. Violence! I'm sure there are some who will like it but I really can't read any further.
At first when I started reading this, I got really attracted and addicted.But once you keep reading, there is something that REALLY bothers me. There is SO MUCH r*pe. I EXTREMELY HATE THAT. The author includes wayyy too much of that element into the story, and that just ruins it for me. I stopped reading the story specifically because of that and something else. In this story, there is an girl who is badly hurt, dies, and then gets reborn. Typical story right? At first, her revenge is pretty sweet, but then what bothers me is that she seems to become very similar to her sister(the bad one). I know she is still good in many ways, and only bullies people if they do something to her first, but in my eyes, r*pe is unacceptable. She ordered people to do that to her sister, and that just disgusts me. I know that the sister did the exact thing to her in her past life, but NO MATTER WHAT, r*pe isn't a word that you can just casually throw around, use, and ESPECIALLY do. I know some might disagree with me, but in my opinion, NOBODY deserves r*pe. It is an evil thing to do. I honestly loved this story at first, but now, I definitely DO NOT recommend. For those females(and males) who are sensitive to this kind of stuff, please do not read it. I won't stop you from reading it, but read it if you want to. To the author if you see this, please do not use that word casually anymore. I know for a fact that many people would love this story a lot more if you didn't include r*pe. PLEASE!?

After reading the reviews i had high expectations for this book. unfortunately, the FL way of dealing with things quickly spiraled into childish antics. As for the ML he proposed almost instantly, making me wonder how geniune his feelings are. Its not a bad book just not my type, i perfer more complex plots and characters.
Such a hidden gem. I am glad I stumbled upon this because it is quite refreshing to read. The first chapter was a kill joy, painful and frustrating but it was necessary to hook us in to follow the female lead through her life journey. I usually hate books that start that way but this one came with a twist. It was different and more realistic (IMO). Good job author .
Big fan of this book, very very very BIG FAN honestly the start may not be original but because it’s told in a different way it makes it interesting and the main characters love development is great, very cute and even better the writing is AMAZING and just so refreshing, it’s only been 2 days and I’m almost halfway through, just love the characters and where the plot is going this should just be 5 stars already! I love this book! It was such a fun read. The FL has obviously been through a lot but she’s so strong and determined and I definitely recommend reading this book.
I love this story because it has a talented and great fl and also a not r*pey ml. Though he is shameless, he doesn't force her to do anything. The world isn't very detailed but the mix of modern tech and ancient chinese roles is very nice and adds to the story.

 For only having seven chapters, so far I really recommend it I know that it’s only the beginning of the story but knowing Invayne story’s I am sure it will not disappointed. Keep up the good work Invy and I recommend all those who love contemporary romance to give it a try.
