Chapter 28: Looks like I got caught
17 and the other two felt a strong shockwave pass through the ground which even made the dome that was protecting to shake and started crumbling. 17 who noticed it used customize once again to reinforce the dome so as to prevent it from being destroyed.
Once the shaking died down the other two who were covering their heads with their hands looked up and blinked their eyes in surprise.
But just before any of them could sigh a fist penetrated through the dome easily and all of them heard a voice, "You really are in a mood to fail my plans today aren't you, son. Well not that it matters now." and then his hand that was inside the dome turned into a missile launcher seeing which Miriko immediately reacted and kicked the hand so as to change the direction it was facing.
17 also not falling behind used customize create to cover the hand with concrete inorder to gain some time as well as to cause Antonio some damage if he attacks and made a passage for them to escape.
The three of them immediately got out of there and 17 immediately changed the healing enhancements on his clothes to strength and speed enhancements, though he let the pain resistance be as it is since he was not sure how much he have healed or how much was it going to hurt if he removed it.
Mirko who was now free to move grabbed the two children and threw them away and shouted, "RUN AWAY!!! I WILL TAKE HIM ON!!!" and then rushed towards Antonio.
17 and 35 who landed on the ground without any problems looked at Mirko and not thinking twice, 35 said, "Let's go 17." and started running away but after running for a while he noticed that there was no sound of footsteps behind him and turned around only to see 17 standing at the place where he was earlier.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING ASS HOLE COME HERE!!!"
17 looked towards 35 and shook his head and said, "It's a bad idea to run away from here, his target is me not the heroes or causing destruction. He will immediately rush towards us if he finds out I am not anywhere nearby."
Hearing his reasoning 35 widened his eyes in surprise seeing which 17 took a deep breath and said, "Go without me 17, you would be safer without me being with you right now, and I would be safe if I am near a hero. I will atleast try to buy enough time for you to get away to repay the favour though. So don't worry about that right." and then used his customize on 35's clothes to give him a strength and speed buff for his protection.
"B-B-Buy we can find someone else nearb-"
"Why do you think none of the heroes who were fighting with him earlier are here? I don't think that you are that foolish to not know what I mean right?"
35 who heard that narrowed his eyes and stared at 17 for a while but soon clicked his tongue and said, "*Tch* Fine ass hole, die here for all I care!!!" and started running away after giving one last glance towards 17.
17 who saw 35 getting away from here sighed and thought, 'And I finally thought that he and I could be good friends, well that's still possible if this bastard of a father dies here. Though the chances of my survival look even thinner than a sheet of paper.' He then glance at Mirko who kept on dodging and kicking the missiles that were being fired at her.
Deciding to give her some support he closed his eyes and started focusing once again.
Soon a silver metal like substance started to come out from all over his body and started falling on the ground.
Once a considerable amount was collected 17 opened his eyes and looked at the vibranium present on the ground and nodded his head.
He then used the collected vibranium to coat his clothes and shoes with it, and once it was done he even made arm guards and gloves out of Vibranium. Once he was equipped with all that he made a helmet made with Vibranium and wore it as well.(The helmet is like the one that magneto wears)
Once all that was done a 17 shining silver from top to bottom was standing in front of the two people who were totally lost in fighting each other.
He then used the remaining Vibranium to make swords for himself and then customized all the weapons gear that he was wearing with his customize create to give them the best possible buffs as he possibly could without breaking either the gear or his body.
Once he made sure that his preparations were complete he started using his quirk and a blue aura enveloped his body, he then used appraisal on himself trying to see what his current strength was.

'Almost 6 times stronger huh...' suddenly a small smirk appeared on his face and he thought, 'Not bad at all.'
He then started charging heat energy in his hands but this time not only did the energy gathering was faster, but also the amount that he was able to focus at a point without causing damage to himself was higher....way higher as well.
Once the energy was charged up he pointed it towards Antonio who was glancing at him from the corner of his eyes but was still busy with his fight against Mirko.
Mirko on the other hand on seeing the silver cladded boy had a few tick marks on her forehead and wanted to kick him very badly for not following his instructions.
But soon Mirko's eyes started to twitched once she noticed 17 looking at him with a challenging smirk as he fired the stored up heat energy towards Antonio.
Mirko Immediately took some distance away from Antonio who on seeing the her backing away prepared to store all that energy that was coming towards him with his quirk and had a confident smirk on his face.
But contrary to what he thought Mirko who took a distance away from him came running and jumping towards him and once she was high up in the air a huge smirk appeared on her face.
"Luna fall!!!"
Antonio who heard Mirko's shout turned his head towards her but before he could turn away Mirko's leg landed on his head with a very strong force behind it, which drove him straight to the ground.
She then immediately used his body as a foothold and jumped away and landed near 17.
"...Why the hell are you still here, lil' shit..."
"...Hmm who knows, I thought I might be safer near you than running away from here."
"...Heh, so you realise how great and strong hero I am huh."
"Nah, it's just that 'he' is too strong to be handled alo-"
Just before he was able to finish it both of the. felt something rushing towards them and jumped away and successfully dodged a horde of pointed tentacles which were sharp enough to pierce their bodies without any effort.
Both of them then looked at Antonio who was partially transformed into his red gooey form and one of his hands and half of his face blown apart.
Seeing that he was damaged badly Mirko didn't waste a second and launched towards him and was about to kick him, but just before her kick could connect she got kicked away by a silver blurr making her widen her eyes in shock.
She stared at the kid who kicked her in the gut send her flying, but just as she was about to curse him she noticed the red gooey part that was damaged surrounding the boy and then engulfing him whole.
'...That kid took that attack to protect me...'
Her eyes then started to dangerously glare at the red gooey man who engulfed the kid and she said, "This is it, I am starting to o get pissed for the first time since I started as a pro, you telling me that the one that I was supposed to protect is protecting me!!! LIKE HELL I WILL ACCEPT THAT!!!" and then pounced towards Antonio at a great speed which formed cracks on the ground where she was standing earlier.
She then kicked the part where the 17 was absorbed with full forced sending the silver covered boy out of Antonio's body. She glanced at him wanting to ask whether he was alright or not.
But before she could say anything 17 shouted, "RUN AWAY HE'S GONNA EXPLODE!!!!!"
Hearing that she immediately jumped up in the sky and saw the kid that she kicked earlier crash into some wall.
A few seconds later she noticed the the man's body started to expand and light up which in no time got engulfed in a huge explosion caused by the enhanced bomb given to 17 by 50 before they ran away from the facility.
"...He literally blew up, I guess..." said Mirko looking at the smoke that was formed by the explosion, she took a stance to be sure to take action if he survived somehow, but once the smoke dissipated only a totally charred body with red goo like substance dripping from it.
She stared at the body for a while and then threw huge block of concrete that she retrieved from nearby debris at him to make sure that he wasn't acting.
Once the huge block of concrete fell on Antonio's body and seeing that he made no movements she eased up a bit and sighed. But then as if she realised something, her eyes widened in shock and she said, "Wait, if he is already dead, does that mean that the only thing that I did today was running away protecting the kid and then getting protected by the kid, who killed him in the end..... AHHHHHHHHH!!!! THIS IS TOTALLY LAME!!!!"
She then heard a series of footsteps approaching her and turned her head only to see the boy in question walking towards her.
"Hmm, but in my opinion you did well Mirko, I was only able to make an initial hit because your attack prevented him from moving and you held him off alone before that, you know."
She stared at the boy approaching her with a deadpan look on her face and said, "Shut it shiny brat, what's with that too to bottom shining anyway. You look like a joker y'know."
Hearing that 17 too thought the same as well, and decided to take it off since they were not in danger anyway.
He absorbed the vibranium back into his body and immediately after that he started to feel a bit light headed and started to wobble around.
Seeing that Mirko supported him and asked, "What happened, injured too much?"
17 shook his head and said, "Energy totally depleted, pored all that I had in the bomb that I planted in him earlier, I am surprised that this whole area is still intact. I thought that everything withing 10m would have been destroyed."
Hearing that Miriko chuckled and said, "Nice joke brat. Everything within 10 m Hahaha."
But she then noticed that the boy she was holding was not replying and looked back at him who was just looking away from her.
"...You lil...You mean that huh..."
17 still didn't say anything and continued to look the other way, but then his head was forcefully grabbed by her and turned towards her.
"I would have gotten caught in that blast you know?...."
"Well aren't you the strongest hero, who does all her work solo? You would have got out of it easily, right?" and gave a wry laugh.
Mirko stared at him for a while and then clutched his head tightly and said, "That . is. not . the . case . here!!!"
"Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah!!!! Stop Stop!!!"
Mirko stared at the boy who was writhing in pain and struggling out of her grasp with an amused smirk on her face and said, "Don't struggle, it will hurt more y'know."
17 who heard that glared at her but didn't do anything else, he had no energy to spare and the exhaustion that had accumulated in his body was making it difficult for him even further.
Soon various other heros came there covered with both serious and minor injuries.
A short old man waring a white and yellow Spandex came near them and freed 17 from his misery and wanted to interrogate him.
Crust also came near them so as to check whether the child was traumatized or was feeling uncomfortable somewhere. And after making sure that he was not fatally injured he sighed though he still felt sad as the injuries on 17's body were still very serious making him fell anger towards himself.
17 just sighed at that and lied down on the ground as he was no longer being supported by someone and his body was unmovable once again because of both energy exhaution and pain.
Gran Torino was about to start his interrogation, but before he was able to start, 17 said, "Hey, before that, can you look for 35...the other boy who was with me."
Gran Torino who heard the boy's request smiled a bit and nodded his head and asked some of the heroes near him to check out the area to search for anyone injured.
Crust as well lied beside 17 as he too have not yet recovered from his injuries and said, "Good work, keeping yourself safe kid."
"Yeah, you really did great out there, we saw your fight with that villain earlier at the time when we first met." said Gran Torino looking at 18 with a expectant look on his face.
They thought that 17 would say something in return, but all they received in response was total silence. They looked at him with a curious look on their faces.
Crust sat up from the ground and started at 17 seeing which Gran Torino did the same and got closer to him as well.
As soon as they got close to him their eyes widened in shocked as both of them glared at him.
Gran Torino immediately grabbed his body and lifted it up which revealed a red tentacle.like structure protruding out of the ground and connected to 17's tongue.
He then looked at 17 and noticed that his eyes were lifeless and that shouted, "CRUST!!!"
Crust the enlarged the shield in his hand and started spinning it and cut off the tentacle from the ground and then looked at the place where the villain was.
"Looks like I got caught huh."
