Chapter 163: Eri and All Might
After leaving UA, Shun headed back to UA to pick up Eri who was with Chiyo.
Knocking on the door, Shun entered the infirmary once Chiyo told him to enter.
"I am here!" said Shun imitating a certain blond hero.
"...That's not how it's done and you know it." said the certain blond superhero who was present in the room along with Chiyo and Eri.
"Uncle Toshi, you injured?" asked Shun as he picked up his new little sister who came running towards him once she saw him enter.
"The usual. Coughed out some blood because of 'that'." said All Might as Chiyo gave him some medicine and then kissed his forehead, activating her quirk.
Understanding that All Might exceeded his daily hero limit, Shun just gave a nod and then took out a chocolate bar that he got from a convenience store and handed it to Eri.
"Here, catch it," said Shun as he threw an energy bar at All Might. He bought two for himself but decided to give one to Toshinori knowing that his grandma's quirk would have drained his energy.
"Thank you, Shun-shounen. By the way, congrats on becoming an older brother." said All Might as he opened the energy bar and started eating.
"Thank you. On that note, Eri did you introduce yourself?" asked Shun to which the little girl who was silently eating chocolate looked up and blinked her eyes.
"...I will take that as a no. Do it," said Shun as he put Eri down and gave her a pat on the back.
Eri looked at the scrawny old man who looked slightly scary to her.
"I-I-I am Eri Kazami...Nice to meet you," said Eri shyly and immediately ran and hid behind Shun.
Shun chuckled seeing her reaction and then looked back at All Might.
"I am Toshinori Yagi. Nice to meet you as well Eri-shoujo." replied All Might with a kind smile on his face.
Eri stared at the scrawny old man for a while and then nodded her head.
Shun patted her head, shifting her attention toward him, and said, "Don't be scared of him Eri. He is like a kind uncle to me. Though he may look like it. He is a very reliable and strong person."
"...What do you mean by even if I look like this?" asked All Might.
"Well, you are in your scrawny form. No way you are looking strong and imposing Uncle Toshi," replied Shun.
All Might wanted to immediately transform into his muscle form and show his brilliance, but knew that the short old lady will beat the crap out of him if she injured his body even more. Also, he didn't want Eri to know about his secret.
Shun smiled and picked Eri up once again and said, "You can ask him for help if you want Eri. If you are in danger and he is close to you, don't hesitate to ask him for help."
Eri looked at her brother and then at the scrawny old man.
All might who noticed the little girl's gaze smiled and nodded.
"Just as he said Eri-shoujo. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Even if you are not in danger, if I can help you then I will." said All Might.
Eri nodded with a smile. She was happy that the person was kind to her, though she didn't think that the man was strong, but decided to believe it since her brother said so.
"Now then, since the treatment is done. Get going. I don't want to waste one of my day offs staying stuck in the hospital or infirmary. " said Chiyo as she slapped All Might's shoulder.
All Might nodded as he finished the energy bar and threw the wrapper away.
Shun was about to leave the room as well, but out of nowhere, his phone started ringing.
He placed Eri on the ground to check his phone and immediately his eyes widened in shock.
Not even wasting a second Shun picked up the call.
"Hello?"
"...I am back."
Shun didn't say anything after that and simply disconnected the call.
"Eri...stay with grandma today. I have some important business," said Shun as he patted Eri's head.
Eri felt sad and wanted to protest but kept quiet. She didn't want to annoy Shun.
"Sorry, Eri. I will take you to the amusement park tomorrow so be prepared and make a list of what you want to do at the amusement park," said Shun in an apologetic tone.
Eri nodded her head with twinkling eyes. She asked Chiyo earlier about the amusement park since Shun promised her that he would take her there. Chiyo showed her some videos about the amusement parks and this her even more excited about them.
"But no excuses tomorrow," said Eri as she moved her hand forward while raising her only finger.
Shun sighed and Pinky promised the little girl.
"Grandma, leaving her to you. Bye," said Shun and teleported away.
"...Yeah, no need to ask the consent of the old lady," said Chiyo sarcastically.
"...If you want I can babysit her." volunteered All Might.
"Like hell, I am gonna leave my sweet Eri with an idiot like you alone! Let's get going Eri," said Chiyo as she held the little girl's hand who was only slightly shorter than her.
"Oh c'mon. It will be fine. What do you say Eri-shoujo? Want to stay with Uncle Toshi today. We can get to know each other, after all, just like Shun you are now my family as well." said All Might as he kneeled to Eri's level.
Eri looked at the blond scrawny man and then looked at Chiyo, wanting to know what to do.
Chiyo looked at her granddaughter and said, "Do as you want Eri. As Shun said, he is a good man. You can stay with your uncle today if you want."
"...Okay. Grandma wants to read today as well, right? I will stay with Uncle Toshi then. Tell this to Onii-chan or we might be late going to the amusement park." said Eri.
Chiyo chuckled. She nodded and sent a message to Shun telling her about the situation.
She didn't worry much about letting All Might take care of Eri. His house probably was the second safest place after Shun's. He can keep the girl safe as well.
Chiyo then grabbed All Might's ear and said in a threatening tone, "Leave her for even a second because of some random hero business or make her sad or cry and you will have hell to face. I better not hear any complaints from her or find a single scratch on her body. Is that clear?"
All Might nodded his head vigorously with a scared look on his face.
Chiyo nodded and let go of All Might's ear and looked at Eri with a smile.
"Take care Eri-chan. Enjoy your day with Toshi. Ask him if you want something. He will buy it for you." said Chiyo as she patted her head.
Eri nodded. She wasn't going to trouble her new uncle, but seeing her supposedly strong uncle(according to Shun) being scared of her grandma made her feel a bit more at ease with All Might.
All Might then picked up the little girl and said, "All right then Eri-shoujo. Ready for one on one bonding time with Uncle Toshi? You are gonna enjoy yourself today. You ask why? It's bec-"
"Get out of here! I need to close the infirmary!" scolded Chiyo as she marked All Might with her cane and pushed him out of her office.
