Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Resolution
I looked at my new parent's reaction from inside the Sapphire
Am I gonna be neglected again? will they hate me?
I felt my heart squeeze inside my chest thinking about what will happen next.
My Mother was the first to approach me, then she reached out her hand and took me out of the ball of mana.
"Anya, Don't worry, Mommy will protect you" She whispered as she held me tightly between her arms
I felt warmth inside after hearing her say that.
"the human doesn't have magic? " one of the fairies floating around said
"How can that be when she can talk to us?" another fairy asked while circling me and my mother
I was trying to listen to their conversation but then my Father suddenly spoke
"With or without magic, she is our daughter and that will never change!" He said firmly
"The Princess is still the princess, with magic or without magic, This had already happened before so you don't have to be worried Princess" Mister Detemir said as he stroke my head
"Hey! Hands off!" Father said as he slap Mister Detemir's hand away from me
"Anya, Mommy and Daddy will always love you no matter what" Mom said and kissed my forehead
"If the Princess is interested after her coming of age ceremony she can learn other self defense classes, like swordsmanship or she can also be my apprentice, The church do not discriminate people plus I do not mind having such a cute apprentice" Mister Detemir said with a smile
"That will never happen" Father said with a frown
I can't help myself from smiling. I am truly loved in this world.
They kept on talking, or rather bickering about my future but I didn't listen because my brain began to calculate what I have to do in this fantasy world, and I came to a decision that even without magic, I will still live the dream I have always wanted. If I can't be a mage, I can still be the warrior!

"Anya, I heard from Mom and Dad about the God Blessing" my Brother Tristan, the crowned prince of the empire said, both of my brothers are now in my room with gloomy faces.
"Don't wowy Brothew, I will be a strong swordsman someday!" I said with a face full of pride, I'm still a 1 year old baby, so saying stuff like this doesn't sound conceited.
Both of my brothers looked at each other and then me, they looked more relieved now
"Anya doesn't have to be a warrior, I will protect Anya" Brother Calvin said while looking at me like he found his purpose in life
"Yes, just as Calvin said, Anya just have to be Anya" Brother Tristan said while stroking my head lovingly
"But Anya want to Pwotect Brothers too" I said as I looked up to them
Both of my brother held their heart and looked at me with moistened eyes.
"Anya will be strong and protect both bwother in the future too!" I said while looking at them with determination
"Ah, to have such a cute sister" Brother Tristan said while staggering backwards and covering his mouth
"Let's do that!! Let's be strong and protect each other!" Brother Calvin on the other hand seems excited and ran out of the room with speed comparable to a superhero I just see in movies back on earth.

Years went by and before I know it, I'm already 6 years old, and today is supposed to be my coming of age ceremony, but since I'm magic-less, there will be no need to check my mana capacity.
There will be a ball to celebrate my coming of age. My Nanny said that becoming 6 years old is important to nobles because this is when they start to expand their social circle and attend tea parties.
I am excited to be able to go out without Mom and Dad but I'm more excited about what will happen tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the beginning of my Basic self defense training. Brother Calvin told me that basic self defense is the fundamentals of all martial arts, and after learning it, I will be able to choose what weapon I want to master. My brother has been training to be a swordsman the moment he finished his mandatory education in the academy. He is now the disciple of the retired master swordsman Sir Condoriano and is training under him for 1 year now, since Brother finished the mandatory education at the age of 11.
Brother Tristan on the other hand is performing his duties as a Crowned Prince. He is now directly under Dad's orders and was send to various territories. I have not seen brother for quite a while now, I wonder how he's doing and if he will be here later for the Ball.
"Princess Anya you look gorgeous" The maids around me said after fixing my hair
I looked at myself in the mirror. I still can't believe this is me.
silver white hair, ocean blue eyes, red lips, and rosy cheeks. I look beautiful, I look surreal. I touched my cheeks to make sure that I was really the one staring back at me in the mirror.
"Anya!" I looked at where the loud voice came from and saw Brother Calvin on the door smiling at me
"Prince Calvin! I already told you that running in the hallway is prohibited! there are eyes everywhere today, please be careful" My Nanny said to Brother Calvin who is standing by the door frame
"Brother!" I said and ran to him, he opened his arms wide naturally.
I hugged him and he lifted me up
"You are abnormally small Anya, look I can carry you like a baby" Bother Cal said as he let me sit on his forearm and supported my back with his other hand..
"I'm not small! You're just too tall!" I said while puffing my cheeks
it's true, maybe it was because of magic? My Brother is so tall despite being a 12 years old. He's as tall as Daddy now, He's at least 180 cm in my estimation.
"Princess!" Nanny Anna was about to scold me when someone suddenly arrived
"just let her be this time Anna" a familiar voice said from behind
I turned my head and saw Brother Tristan
"Brother Tris!" I said as I stretched my hand to him
he took me from Brother Cal's arms and hugged me
"Happy Birthday Anya" He said

Both of my brothers are on each side holding my hand as I descend the Stairs to the great ball room, everyone's attention is on us, so I felt a little nervous but then I saw Mom and Dad sitting on their throne at the front most corner of the room.
I can't help myself but smile while looking at Mother's expression that seems to say You can do it!
at that moment I did not notice the people below gasped, a lot of the nobles especially the lower ranking ones are seeing me for the first time.
There have been a lot of rumors surrounding me, the Princess of the empire, for a while now, especially because the whole empire knows that I'm Magic less.
I finally arrived at the platform where the thrones of the royal family are, my brothers walked to their respective thrones and I was about to walk to mine too but then, I felt someone pick me up.
It was Dad, he sat on his throne and made me sit on one of his thighs
the people that were whispering a while ago stopped and the entire ball room fell silent
I tried to look at Mom to at least have a clue of what is happening but then I saw Mom looking at the Nobles below with eyes as cold as snow
I can't help but gulp, what is up with this atmosphere?
I touched Daddy's chest to get his attention, and so he looked at me.
"Daddy" I said with worried eyes
Dad just pinched my cheeks a little then a person who is wearing extravagant clothes suddenly appeared and spoke some flowery words , then the party started like the suffocating atmosphere earlier was just an illusion.
