Its somewhat reminiscent of Low Dimensional Game except MC seems more human and he has a goal unlike LDG’s MC. Our MC has taken control of a hive of insects that allows him to basically run a miniature version of history.

Mixing of the game world with the sandbox will ultimately kill this novel. It will give birth to the 'shameless' protagonists that we all know and love. This will eventually destroy any consequences the actions had. The story will ultimately boil down to a xianxia. if only he just watched the world develop without adding protagonists into the story. oh such a lovely story destroyed by having to add an unlimited number of players.
So much lost potential in favor of games. The start was amazing with its promised focus of biology and history. but 40 chapters in the story in the real world has become more important that the story in the sandbox. I mourn for the lost potential.
This is a review up to chapter 53. I was a little doubtful at first, because the beginning was quite abrupt, the reaction of the MC was completely unrealistic, and it seemed very fast paced. But as the novel picked up and things progressed, I was actually really intrigued and could not put this down, wanting to see more of the development of the civilization in the sandbox. The introduction of a smaller sandbox with players was actually fascinating as well, although I had my doubts at first, I actually really liked what it added. In general, I would say this is very much the type of novel I enjoy, and though the beginning was rough, it ended up being very interesting and well written I think. I really, really, really hope this is selected for voting.
This is good. I highly recommend reading this story. The world-building is very nice. I read up to chapter 60 without noticing and was sad to find I read up to this point and there were no other chapters. I hope this is picked to be translated at some point because this is a nice read.
Why the hell I won't give it five stars if it is the only one I like from the bunch? Be the way, I really hate how reviews look when people have to spam some random letters just to get to the right word count. Fix it already, qidian, This limitation clearly fails to bring good reviews and just annoys people.

It turned out great at the beginning, I had high hope for this to turn out into a masterpiece but I was wrong. After the free chapters, the translation quality goes downhill, though if you read MTL novels daily then it is still better than that. Also in less than 200 chapters, the story goes into the traditional Chinese cultivation. Can someone tell me if it did not go into that direction in near future chapters? Though I doubt it because this is a Chinese translated novel

I really hope that this is gonna get chosen for voting once again. It baffles me that somehow this didn´t get picked last time. These days most of the trial-reads are basically garbage. Though there are some exceptions like this one.
I must complain. HOW*** can this not get picked. It's way better than that trash called low Dimensional Game. It made more sense. Plus the way he cured his cancer in low Dimensional Game was too easy. I really hoped against everything thing that this novel would get picked, especially since the editor was behaving as if he had common sense by at least picking some good books. But webnovel managed to disappoint yet again. I mean look at previous cases like Transcendent Dawn and lord of Enigma and dimensional codex(this one hurts just as much as nurturing humanity) I really did hope every week this book was there that it would get picked since reading mtl is so frustrating and with it being an extremely good book. But don't expect anything from webnovel I have learnt this the hard way. From now on I will not read books on trial read and will only check the books that get picked. It get the idea in our prehistoric history... The story is quite logical( if you ignore the sorcery,alchemy and etc...) Overall, it was a good novel... Hope that this will be picked... But I doubt that this will be picked... Because the editor don't know how to choose and has pea sized brain......?!!!!!!
