Synopsis
Sect Leader Yi Lian has sat in his position for years. After the mysterious death of his parents and brother (the soon to be Sect Leader) he had been left to govern a place of quiet and solitude.
All seemed well until the Sect Leader met one man who would change his life. After a love was lost, Yi Lian falls into a state of depression whilst his Sect descends into chaos.
The mainland surrounding the Island make a pact to take The Island and Sect for themselves but the only way they can do that is if the current Sect Leader is dead... but where the hell is he?! Has someone returned to rescue him?

Just a warning for future readers. This story is super clean & short. There's not a lot of time with the main couple. I think there was supposed to be a part 2, but I'm not sure if the author is still interested in writing it. These things don't take away from the quality of the story though. Just wish it were a bit longer. There's also a lot of time jumps, so be prepared for that. I wasn't & was very confused until I realized what was going on.
I only read the early chapters, but this book is good! The plot is clear and the descriptions are detailed. But, the characters' names that look similar to each other may confuse the leader, for example, Yi Lian and Yi Vian. I thought that's a typo 🤭 Overall, the author did a good job! [img=recommend]
