Chapter 11: CHAPTER ELEVEN- Winds of summer
After taking a shower and coming out almost with wriggling legs Eric was now lying on his bed. His temperature rising up and falling down constantly,Lia knew something he didn't. She kept him warm. Tucked him inside a blanket. Asking him to get a good rest. Slowly Eric's eyes closed and he slept,soundly. Lia moved out of the room. Eric rested for the whole day and night. His fever eventually came down.
It was already 8 in the morning when Eric woke up to a knock on the door. He tried to remember what had happened the othet day. Rubbing his eyes he walked himself up to the door.
"Goodmorning Mr.Jiseok" an unknown face greeted him. "I bought your breakfast sir should I place it out?" he asked.
Eric being immersed in his thoughts snapped out and replied "Ah! Yes"
As he sat down. He thought about one person in particular all the time. He wondered why Lia didn't show up. Probably because she knew she was guilty. 'Haah!! apologize if you feel guilty' Eric said to himself.
Without going around asking for Lia he personally went out to look for her. He was amazed by her reactions. How they kept changing from cold to warm then cold again?
She is one weird girl he thought.
But to his disappointment he couldn't find her anywhere. Lia and her father. They both weren't here. Maybe the hotel fired them because of what she did to me yesterday? "Huh Yes. Right?"
He felt a sense of pride. He wanted to give her a good lesson. By his position and money.
He was unaware.
He went for his pocket and took out a shining round object. What was it? A ring?
It belongs to Lia. Eric saw it on her hand the other day. It was lying by the bedside of Eric's room. She probably dropped it yesterday. How careless. 'Is this a real ring though?' He asked to himself.
He casually drove to a jewelry shop. Took out the ring and asked the owner of the shop.
"What do you know about this ring? Is this real?"
The owner kept examining the ring in awe.
"Oh marvelous! How marvelous! That I got to see something as great as this in my lifetime. Where did you get this ring from dear Sir!"
"Huh? Tell me is it really that great of a ring?" Eric said instead.
"Indeed it is Sir. This rare design is from back to generations. It's a family ring that has been passed on belonging to great Kings. It's worth cannot be measured. In fact it was given as a proposal to women by their fiances.Such a great treasure it belongs to the museum."
Proposal? Proposal? Proposal. Was the only word that went on in his mind. Some big shot proposed her with this and she wears it so proudly... Huh? I can buy twice as expensive ring as this. What even is this in front of my life earnings. Eric scorned.
She is already engaged. And why would someone give her this ring. She's just a lowlife why would someone want her? This belonged to Great kings? So the royals want her? ... mmnn intresting how would the royals fþeel if I steal their girl?
Eric was different. What made him different was that he respected woman. He never loved. He never craves for any woman out there. He was never intrigued by any of them. He just wanted to live his luxurious bachelorette life till the end. He never wanted to settle for a family.
But he acted differently than his character. He became wicked. More so arrogant. And disrespectful. Especially around Lia. As if he didn't want to treat her good. Because he didn't like her. There was something off about her. Something bad.That was oddly attractive to him. So he decided to be stubborn.
After returning to the hotel. Eric looked around again.
He went to the desk asking for Lia.
"She left? What do you mean she left? Where?"
"Sir she left last night back to Korea."
Eric was took by a surprise.
He couldn't word what he was thinking.
He couldn't stand still. Taking in such a big news. Never had someone's leaving had him into this shock other than his sister who left him. It was coming back again. Eric's panick attack. All events being repeated.
'She isn't that important to me.
She is no one. Just a lowlife.
I am not affected by anything.'
Eric kept thinking in circles.
He went to his room taking his cell phone he called his manager
"When are we leaving? Tell father that I want to come back" he demanded
"But sir you wanted to stay for longer so I told the authorities to extend your dates. I even informed Mr.Jiseok about it. And he was okay with it.And we have some meetings to attend here."
"Cancel all the meetings and bring the pilot we are leaving"

"IT WAS AS IF SHE WAS THE WINDS.CAME, BLEW EVERYTHING AWAY AND LEFT. AS IF BLEWING AN ENTIRE BEING WAS NOTHING.AND I WAS THE ONE LEFT BEHIND, BLOWN AWAY."
