Chapter 148: Valley of Swords

After Ye Shin exited the room, the physician started to examine the other bodies laying on the floor. One by one, he checked their pulse and studied the wounds on their neck.

"All of them have died in a quick and painless death." he determined.

The physician casually took a pen and a brush from his bag and started drawing an image of the spiral wound. From one body, he moved to another. His eyes suddenly widened as if he made an interesting discovery.

"Incomprehensible..." the physician mumbled.

The more he examined the dead bodies around him, the more he felt excited. There was an indescribable sensation within him that he had never felt before.
