I caress her arm, reaching her hand. I bring it to my mouth and prick her forefinger with my fang. When a single drop of blood spills out, I pass my tongue on it, healing the wound I made.

I grab her shirt and push her against the wall. I don't use any strength; I don't want to hurt her. I just want her to notice my presence, to feel cornered. To realise that she shouldn't say words that she would regret later.
When she lifts her eyes to look at me, I kiss her lips with more strength than I have initially planned to.
Though she doesn't complain about that.

I simply love this!!!! its such an amazing book! The author is doing such a good job creating suspense and attraction without it being cheesy! I cant get enough! Need more chapters ASAP!!!! ๐๐๐
Well written and draws you in easily. I binged all available chapters in one reading. I am happy the author updates regularly so I wont wait long to find out what happens. I am used to fantasy romance books where the male characters dont have so much self control and give into their passions. To read about a ML that is so restrained is new to me and I secretly wish he would let go as obviously the FL desires him. But I know its a slow burn so I am patient and hoping it will get more intense

The povs... my goodness author! You really know how to write into their character! The mystery is neat to read and the story is intriguing. Only thing I would recommend is to change their speaking to quotes. I am not one for pov jumping from one character to the other, but I think the author maintained it well! READ THIS NOVEL!!!
As I write this review, the book is still new and has less than 10 chapters. Yet I can say it's one of my favourite stories in this app. First, because the author has already proven her talent with her first two published novels. And most of all, because thie relation between Julia and Leo is one of the most heartwarming relationship in Webnovel. In the first chapters, they're oblivious for their shared love but you can feel how natural the tenderness and affection they have for each other and it melts your heart. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this wonderful love novel !

This is the first novel with first person POV I've read, I just tried to read it because it seems interesting and I'm thankful to this novel and the author because it beautifully done, i had really fun reading this, I love the story and the characters. great job author.๐

The story was on the run and is not stopping. There is a build-up of plot and storyline and I am impressed by the author's writing style. Lots of love from your reader. The author is talented so this novel was in good hands. Peace โ๏ธ
I have to say, this was a really fun read. I lovw how mysterious it is, the author leaves many unanswered questions which really draws you in to the plot and characters, as well as some fantastic world building to suppliment the vivid imagery they create. I love the dual perspective and the fact the reader gets to see the emotions and thoughts of both a human and a vampire reallt adds a layer of depth to the story. Also can I just say, I love Leo. He has a perfect mix of 'scary imposing vampire that could realistically kill you in a heartbeat' combined with a more gentle natured sterotype. His shifting moods and inner turmoils are something I really enjoy reading. Fantastic work author
This story deserves five stars. The author describes everything perfectly. I felt like I was actually inside the story. I like the main lead, Leo and Julia. They make a perfect pair. Looking forward to reading more of this story .
The back story of the characters was informative. Enjoyed the perspective from both Julia & Leo. The more you read the mor you wanted to see what would happen next.
This book is worth reading and it's wonderful that it's finished. The POV experience is quite enjoyable. My only wish is that there was a few more chapters to wind down the ending, maybe a wedding or something... otherwise, awesome!

Read the completed story and loved it. The plot keeps you interested throughout and you become really invested in the characters. I thought thr author did a great job also alternating the narration point of biew without compromising story flow!
Absolutely loved this book and how the MC developed and grew over time. I also loved that the descriptions of the environments and what was going on were so well done to make you feel like you were there, but not in any way over done to the point where it could get distracting.
Absolutely wonderful creative take on vampires and a post apocalyptic type world with a touch of magic. Characters are so wonderful, I love being able to know what is going on in both main characters heads. All of this authors works are amazing reads.
A Well written book, vampire and human turned vampire, love and romance, interesting and short no time to get bored, could have had a few more chapters.

Here author's review :) This will be the story between a vampire and a girl, drawn to each other by obscure forces... There will be love, a lot of passion, and a few mysteries to solve. It won't be long (I'm currently planning between one and two hundred chapters; unless I have a huge inspiration, it won't be longer than that), but it will be full of fluff, juicy moments and a lot of irrational, destined love :D
