Chapter 69: "Iceberg"

After a couple of minutes, Lia met with her brothers Lemmon and Lorus at the police station. She sat in front of a computer desk and told the police officer what happened at the hospital entrance.

"We'll see what we can do, miss," one of the police officers named Donovan said. He was typing the details of Lia's story about her father's kidnapping.

"How long will it take?" she asked him.

"I'm not sure…" Officer Donovan replied, "Usually, kidnapping cases take a while… We need to check all CCTVs and find out the plate number."

"Please contact me immediately, sir," Lia said, still teary-eyed. "My father just woke up from being in a coma for two years… He's still weak… I'm so worried about him…" and soon, tears fell down to her cheeks.
