Chapter 15: Re: Atorio

After the school day was over, Okashi, Asia, and Issei went back home. As they entered the door, they were greeted by Miki and Gorou. Okashi grew a small smile and said, "Hey mom, hey dad. I'm gonna play some video games, alright?" Miki just chuckled and said, "Okay Okashi, just make sure to come down for dinner."
Okashi went up the stairs and into his and Issei's room. Since he was reincarnated here, it looked a little different than in canon. For starters, the room was divided into two sides, one for Okashi, and one for Issei. Issei's side had the same look as from canon but smaller, but Okashi's side would be a sight to behold to the average weeb.
He had a normal gray bed, a wooden nightstand, and lamp. He also had a wooden dresser. That's where the normal part ends. In the weeb side of things, he had a bunch of manga in a bookstand, a plastic Buster Sword, a model of a white haired Megumin casting magic, and a poster of Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri, and Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club on the wall(This game gave me depression. Also, the names are in order of superiority, in my opinion of course. Have fun with that~).
Okashi looked at the poster and shed a manly tear. He had played DDLC in his past life, and if someone asked if he had any regrets about playing it, he would say only one. "I'm sorry Sayori," he whispered in sadness. Sayori was his favorite Doki, and her death hit him hard.
After crying in despair for a few minutes, Okashi looked around his side and smiled at his collection of manga. The anime, manga, and games of DXD were incredibly similar or exactly the same as his world's, so he got many of them. The Naruto, Re: Zero, and even Konosuba manga were all here. Sadly, they were mostly just bad parodies of the originals, but that didn't mean that their storylines and characters weren't incredibly similar.
After reminiscing for a bit, Okashi went to the end of the room and sat down. In front of him was a TV he and his parents bought, a console that looks like a Playstation 4, and a couple of games. He turned on the TV and the console, placed a game called 'Demon Hunters' into the console, and started playing.
A few hours later, Okashi was called down stairs to have dinner. As he got halfway to the stairs, Okashi smelled something that made him drool. He quickly ran down the stairs with one thought on his mind. "Burgers!" the boy yelled. His family and Asia were already at the table, with the boys being eager to eat the burgers Miki made. Miki chuckled at her youngest child's antics and said, "Okashi, me and Asia made your favorite food! Go ahead and eat with us!"
After a delicious dinner, Okashi, Asia, and Issei went back upstairs to get ready to sleep. After taking a shower and brushing their teeth, the three climbed into bed, with their sleep being very different. While Issei and Asia would dream normally, Okashi would be meeting some very unique people in Apex's world.
As Okashi woke up, he saw that he was in the house Apex made. He was currently laying on the couch with his face staring at the ceiling. He sat up in front of him to see three people sitting on the couch opposite of him. One of them was a tired looking Apex, and the others were two people he never saw before.
The first person was a boy with light brown skin who looked to be around late 13 to early 14 years in age. He had medium length white hair with bangs on the sides of his face, sky blue eyes, and a handsome face. He wore a open black hoodie, a black t-shirt, grey cargo shorts, and black Nikes slippers. His pupils were in the shape of a star. There was a ominous purple magic circle on his right hand. He also had two purple horns poking out from the sides of his head. He was looking at Okashi with a happy smile as he was hugging a person that was sitting in his lap.
This person was a young girl who had the same skin color as the boy but she looked to be around 6 to 7. She had short white hair, a incredibly adorable face with some baby fat on it, and crimson red eyes. She was wearing a red shirt with a mysterious black hand on it, dark red pants, a pink skirt, and white sneakers. Her pupils were stars, just like the boy. She also had a magic circle on her hand, with her's being on her left hand. She only had one horn that was on the left side of her head.
By the way the two kids looked close to each other and by there similar appearance, Okashi thought they were siblings. For some reason, he felt a terrifying but controlled power emitting from the brother and a more wild but less deadly energy from the sister.
Okashi, confused about who these people were, asked, "Hey Apex, who are these two? I thought only you lived here?" Apex said to Okashi in exasperation, "These two are known as some of the strongest and most annoying beings in the multiverse. They're known as-" The boy put his hand up and said in a relaxed tone, "Apex, you really flatter me, but you don't need to do this. You should sit next to your boyfriend, me and my little sister will introduce ourselves."
Apex sat down next to Okashi in happiness, which confused him. However, he quickly found out the reason.
The brother put his hand above his face dramatically and said "Prepare for trouble!" "And make it double!" the sister said. She was posing as Killer Queen. "To protect the world from devastation!" "To unite all people within our nation!" "To denounce the evils of truth and love!" "To extend our reach to the stars above!" "Persona!" "Persin!" "Team Atorio blasts off in the darkness of the night!" "Surrender now, or prepare to fight!" "Yo." To make things weirder, a black cat that looked like Puck from Re: Zero came from behind Persona.
In both Okashi's current life and past life, he never saw any real people that acted this way. Sighing, Okashi asked, "Okay then, but why are you two here?" Persona grinned and said, "Geez, he really doesn't know, does he brother?" Persin smiled wryly at his sister before saying, "Now now Persona, you knew that he wouldn't know that immediately. How could he? Hs barely knows anything about this vast reality we live in, so you can't blame him for being as dense as a brick." Okashi, irritated that he was being mocked, shouted in anger, "Dammit, why the hell are you guys not explaining anything!? Just tell me why you're here!" Persona jumped into her brother's arms while saying, "Scary, scary! Persin, he's scary!"
Persin gently patted his sister's head and told her, "It's okay Persona, he's just confused. Let me explain it to him." He sat down and said, "Okashi, Apex must have told you about the gods right? And not those fake gods down in DXD and other universes, I'm talking about gods that are easily on the level of this universe's Biblical God." Okashi nodded his head. Persin clapped his hands together and then said, "Great, this makes things much more easy for me! So if there is a whole new level of gods, that would mean that they're should be a crap ton of other incredibly strong races, me and my sister included. Would you like to guess what race we are? And before you say any sort of devil or demon, let me say something. One, that is extremely racist and you should be ashamed of yourself. Two, we're related to demons but we're not pure or half blooded. They're more like distant relatives."
Okashi thought for a little bit before saying with a straight face, "Dude, I am absolutely clueless. I feel like I should know because Apex said something about you two being incredibly strong, but I don't know." Persona smiled at his answer before turning to her brother with pleading eyes and said, "Persin, can I tell him! I can't wait to see the look on his face!" Persin smiled at his loli sister before saying, "Go ahead! I told the last person anyway, and you still need some more experience with these types of people." Persona smiled before saying, "Okashi Hyoudou, you have the honor to know our race's name so be grateful! Me and my brother are known as Atorio, a race that is known to have the powers of the purest creation and destruction!
Okashi looked at the two in deadpan. "If people like you are actually given ultimate power like that, I'm scared for the sake of reality," he thought. "Oh their abilities are real alright, just look at me as proof!" Persin opened his eyes wide and looked to his left to see that cat from before on top of his shoulder. The cat was as he thought, basically the black version of Puck from Re: Zero. What made him feel weird is that the cat had a really deep and masculine voice.
"Hello, my name is Pluck. I'm the pet of these two. I'm also the creation of Persin and familiar of Persona." Okashi looked at the cat in deadpan before sighing. "Remember Okashi, you're able to create explosions from the energy of the world, two incredibly powerful children and a talking cat shouldn't be anything too difficult for you," he thought.
Okashi took a deep breath before saying, "Alright then, you three, tell me why you're here! People as powerful as you must have some reason to be here!" Persin smiled at him and explained, "Okashi, we came here to check up on you. A small bit of our race has been interested in you and your exploits, and me and my dear sister thought that we should get a closer look at the new reincarnator. By the way." Persin turned to Apex and signed before saying, "Apex, while I understand that you don't do this often, if ever, but you should explain more about the 'real' world to him. He's not the only person that has become a candidate."
"Wait a minute, what do you mean by 'candidate'." Okashi asked. Persona just chuckled before saying in a mischievous manner, "We'll tell you more later. Anyway, me and my brother also wanted to give you some little gifts for being so entertaining! Brother, please do the honors." Persin cracked his knuckles with a smirk and said, "Alright, let's get to work!"
Before he could do anything, Apex teleported in front of Okashi and said in a controlled but terrifying tone, "While you two are strong, you both should understand the power of a god of reincarnation. Tell me what you're going to do before you try anything stupid." Persin started to sweat a little and his eyes showed a hint of fear before he said in a nervous manner, "C-calm down Apex! We were just going to give your boyfriend a little power boost! A thank you for being so entertaining!"
Apex calmed down and sat back in her seat, making Persin sigh in relief before wiping the sweat from his head. He looked in Okashi's direction before asking, "Okashi, I'm going to create a type of 'Sacred Gear' for you. It will have many uses, and it'll probably be helpful in the future. Will you accept it?"
Okashi thought about the offer for a few seconds before saying with confidence, "Fine, this doesn't seem like a bad deal. Besides, judging by your expression when Apex got angry, you're probably too weak to defeat her. That means that trying anything funny against me will be a death wish for you." Persin gave him a complicated look before he laughed and said, "Man, you're suprisingly observant! Anyway, let's begin the process."
A flaming black orb appeared in Persin's hand before it gently flew into Okashi's chest. Okashi started getting a small painful feeling in his chest. Quickly, the pain started spreading across his body, getting more hot as it spread. The pain was terrible for Okashi, but he grit his teeth and tried to keep his screams from coming out.
Slowly, the pain started fading away, with it being replaced by a comforting coolness. He let out a sigh of relief before asking Persin, "Okay, what happened? There was this painful feeling in me before it disappeared."
Persin smiled at him and said, "Everything's fine, the 'sacred gear' just integrated with your soul. You'll be able to use it when you wake up in the real world. Anyway, I think my sister also has something to give you, right Persona?" Persona smiled and yelled, "Yay! My turn, my turn!"
This time, a red orb appeared in Persona's hand which flew into Okashi's head. After a few seconds, Okashi let out a painful scream as he felt like his brain was getting the "7 page muda". There were all sorts of strange images of symbols, multiple elements from the periodic table, and a pure white entity in front of a mysterious door being forced straight into his brain.
For a few hours, Okashi felt a terrible pain in his head that was basically the definition of, "getting mind fucked". However, his incredible will to live and his defiant nature made him stay awake.
After a while, Okashi's brain finally stopped getting all the information, and Okashi was about to celebrate before another terrible pain started hitting him.
Afrer his brain had received the information, it had to process it bit by bit. Okashi started to gain memories that weren't his. They were of a young blond boy who lost his arm and leg, an older man who was given the curse of eternal life, and a black haired man who dreamt of changing his country. He recognized them as Edward Elric, Van Hohenheim, and Roy Mustang in order. He went through their many of their memories. Their happy ones, their sad ones, and even experienced their emotions.
When the pain stopped, Okashi had tears running down his eyes and his lip was bleeding due to biting on it for so long. Apex was looking at him with a nervous and scared look in her eyes. She wanted to help him, but she knew that interrupting the process would damage Okashi's mind, so she could only look at the boy in worry as he endured the terrible pain.
"Are you alright?!" Apex asked in panic. Okashi took some deep breaths before he said, "I'm a-alright. Dammit, that hurt like a bitch!" Persin looked at him and Apex nervously before he whispered to Persona, "Sis, I think we should get out of here before it's too late!" The siblings prepared to run away but s
were caught in each hand by an angry Apex.
She had a sweet smile on her face that would make her seem like kindness incarnated to many women, but men and children knew better than that. That was the smile a boy got from his girlfriend when he was too close to another girl, the smile a husband got from his wife when he stayed out too late, and the smile a child got from his mom when he didn't do his chores. It was the infamous, "So your seeking death" smile, and whenever it was pointed at you, you knew you were in trouble.
The two Atorio were both picked up by the collar, with both of them sweating bullets. Apex said to Okashi in a sweet tone, "Dear, it will be time for you to wake up soon, so just close your eyes and try to get some rest, okay?" Okashi wanted to say he was fine, but he understood the smile on Apex's face and decided it would be better to just do as she said.
Persona shouted in fear, "Okashi sama, please save us!" Her and her brother were both bent over Apex's knees, and she had two belts in each hand. Okashi just looked at the scene with fear in his eyes before he quickly laid on the couch and closed his eyes. The last thing he heard was the sound of something being hit hard and the screams lf the Atorio siblings. He shivered in as he thought, "Women truly were the most terrifying creatures on in the world."
Okashi's face scrunched up as he heard the beeping from his alarm clock. He still felt bad due to the knowledge overload, but he felt much better compared to before. The boy climbed out of bed and started getting ready for the day. After he finished, he woke up Asia and Issei and helped them get ready, with him focusing mostly on Asia.
After a normal breakfast, the three teens walked at a leisurely pace to their school. When they arrived, Issei had went to the Occult Research club to talk about something while Okashi decided to walk Asia around a little bit before class.
As they were walking, Okashi was thinking about the "gifts" he was given. He knew that Persin gave him a sacred gear but he didn't know how to use it, so he decided to look at it later. He was pretty certain about what Persona gave him though. The experiences and knowledge of some of the strongest alchemists in Fullmetal Alchemist.
Since he already had magic, he originally thought that this wouldn't be necessary for him, but he quickly realized that alchemy could help boost the power of his attacks and would allow him to do things he couldn't normally do with magic. He just needed to practice with it until he had enough control to unlock it's potential. It was also very convenient since he now had some of the traits of the three great alchemists.
He now had the incredible alchemical talent of Edward, the ability to more effectively control his emotions from Hohenheim, and the strategic genius and leadership of Roy. And while he didn't know at the time, he could also use alchemy without a transmutation circle. The intellect of these three combined gave a crap ton of knowledge to Okashi, which would make learning alchemy even easier and would also help him learn things at breakneck speed.
While the boy was happily thinking about the things he could do with his alchemy, Asia had to shake Okashi to remind him about class. He quickly snapped out of his trance and started walking to class with the blond.
A few minutes later, Okashi was sitting in class while zoning out as the teacher was explaining something about math to the students. He was too busy looking at his status screen, which now showed him this:
