They both shared a small silence after their statements.
“Screw you, Lewis!” Clair humphed and turned her heels, changing her direction to her bedroom.
“Lewis? Did you just call me Lewis?” James’s eyes turned wide as he marched after her.
“Yes, and?”
“Well screw you too Ainara.”
Clair gasped. “You dirty little-“
“You started this first!”
Oh, she begged to differ.
“You man child!”
“Are you seriously speaking right now? You’re acting like a child yourself!”
“Whatever I’m out of this stuffy palace!”
“If you’re going to run away at least don’t announce it. Look how that turned out for you last time.” He mocked.
“Well, third times the charm! L-E-W-I-S” She raised her hand picking up her pace as he still followed behind her persistently.
He suddenly stopped and said, “Fine. You can try to run away I don’t care.”
Clair halted her steps and turned around. “Really?” She asked.
He could imagine literal hearts in her eyes right now.
Not responding he turned around and walked to the opposite direction where his room was, only to realize they had the same bedroom!
He then turned around and entered their room, slamming the door shut.
Clair scoffed and ran down the hall to make her grand escape.

A few minutes later,
If the guards who were trying to help up their unconscious fellow guards, didn’t witness their King pick up their Queen and drop her on his shoulder like a bag of potatoes, they would have thought he was carrying their Queen’s corpse.
With her head hanging low Clair groaned.
“You said I could escape.”
“No, I said you could try.”

That’s what they labeled her as, not that they were wrong.
She was feared amongst all killers, many said the devil himself was afraid of her.
But others insisted she was the devil herself!
This was the way she survived, the way she trained herself for the most important day of her life. The day she could take revenge on the man who had stolen all her family members from her.
Saved by her adopted father in the attempt to give up on her own life, she received a new identity and chance.
Just when she thought she was able to put her past away, someone shows up with the intention of marrying his son off to her.

Well i dont review a lot but I have to say that this story is “ “ I dont have word for it, because it is so interesting and funny i like both FL and ML, dont forget FL Is savage i like her, even though FL and ML are not YET in Love they are still attracted to each other and i Also like the Idea that the fl is not “Perfect” because no one is, even though she’s been trough a lot she is so strong , i kinda feel like this story is telling us reader if you bacame or want to be someone tomorrow you need to work hard, and believe In yourself, Every time i read this novel i became more and more impress of it. i like the positive vibe. Thank You so much Author for creating such a beautiful novel.
Well my second review . Well thing are getting more interesting, because every time i read it, it also make me wanna read more of it and like that i finish reading and 2 days, I am telling all of this to tell you how good this book is, keep it up Author and thank you for that beautiful story.
This book is so good, I definitely recommend someone to read it, this story is one of the best story I’ve ever read, like its literally so interesting, funny, and also the fl is so daring, I like both fl and ml even if they have a long way to go before they fall in love.

I am in love with this novel❤️❤️❤️such a strong female lead......personally I don't like weak FL.......she is strong yet very broken inside but still she tries her best to live....... sometimes I find her really funny when she talk with doc Liz about sucied and murder so casually........ thank you author for such a amazing novel🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm the first to review the book and I'm honoured to do that! this is an amazing book! the character development of the leads is realistic. both the leads are strong and powerful and the fl is not a damsel in distress . but they are imperfect and that's how I like it. this is not your regular cliche but an amazing one. Do not miss it!

Reviewing agter getting upto date, chapter 41. The story is interesting. It’s good. I love both ML and FL. Especially the FL. She’s strong, ruthless and cold blooded. I love it. ML is similar. So far there’s already some mysteries in the story. I’d love to know too what would happen to them after. So I’m looking forward to the coming chapters. Not much is being revealed yet as the chapters are few aswell. I do hope that this won’tbe a super long novel tho. Also, there’s a bit of grammar error, misplaced punctuation marks, some missing punctuation marks and alot of mispelled words too. Author-sama might want to double check on them. Other than those, story wise and character, I love them. Very interesting.
