Chapter 26: Nightmare III
"What do you want?" She questioned him directly. Good, she can't see his face or she will be disgusted more.
He chuckled at seeing her like that, she was still a scardy cat like before. A feisty little one, who isn't scared of showing her true emotions more than her dislike towards him.
"Did you not miss me?" He went closer to her face and whispered in her ears, gently caressing her cheeks like she was a porcelain doll.
"But you know, I also hate that you married someone and got pregnant with his child." His words slowly turned cold and sharp, his hand went down to her chin and gripped it forcefully to see her face better. His eyes turned slowly colder, the more he saw her, the more the temperature in the room dropped.
She should be her. She was always her. He knew she was always his, even from the day she was born but why she doesn't like him as he does. Why can't she fall for him as he did?
She was her but why someone else got to mark her when he was away. Why was she not loyal?
The more furious he got the more he thought, but how can he let go of her. She was his, he can't let go of her? He was not that weak and he was not going to lose the game.
"Why did you go for someone else?" He grabbed on her hair strongly making her yank in pain. The room was cold and his aura was strong.
Sara was still scared that he could do anything to her now, he was crazy. He can kill anyone, even her kids. He is just a crazy psychopath who was just behind her and she doesn't know why.
She knows if she doesn't take action before, he can do anything not to her but her child. He will not kill her, but he will not let go of people who are dear to her. He may hurt her, torture her but death is not for her. If she tries to die, he may even pull her out of there. There was no escape for her or no place to hide. She was destined for this.
But her family, Michael, her kids didn't deserve this. It was because of her selfishness that they will get hurt. If only she never said to Michael, if only she agreed to abort her kids when Michael suggested that and live her dark life.
Why did she ever think her life would be happy like others? Why did she think that the nightmare that she was escaping will not come back again?
She was desperate to have a life of her own but she did not think that this was creating a hell of her dear ones, she was also a monster like him. A monster who he created. She was not a princess, then why did she think that she was going to have a life like those princesses in the fairy tale?
"I will not be going to anyone again. I learned my lesson!" She shouted out before he does anything to anyone she cares about. Tears fell out of her eyes as she said those words.
He was surprised for a second, and slowly let go of her hairs. He smirked hearing her, she was getting better with negotiations.
"And how can I believe you are not going to leave me again?" He asked, grabbing her chin making both of their faces at the same height and just a few inches in between.
Sara gulped sensing his breath close to her, "I just want to keep my child, and I will be yours. I will leave him, even my family." She put out her clause before him and just hoped he agreed with her.
He remained silent for some time, then let out laughter, on hearing his laughter Sara was puzzled. Did he agree or he is laughing at her? She was still confused when he suddenly said, "Ok"
She was taken back in surprise, he agreed. No one was going to die this time. She was about to let out a smile when unawarely came close to her and softly whispered in her ears, "Leave him or see him dying like your father, slowly and painfully." His words are dangerous like always. And she knew if he said he would do it. She shivered on hearing, on just thinking that she may lose Michael forever, like her father.
The sudden image of her father dying in front of her, asking her to leave him, stuck on her mind. Her whole body started to tremble, her chest felt stuffed, she couldn't breathe. She felt suffocating, was she dying? Was it the end of her nightmare?
