Chapter 279: Presumptuous Request

The next morning, Qin Zhi Hao went over to see the Emperor as soon as the morning meeting with the ministers and officials had ended. 

As he approached the building, Qin Zhi Hao could see the Grand Eunuch escorting the two princes out of the room. The three of them exchanged a few words before they were separated. 

Qin Zhi Hao naturally recognized his two brothers, the Fifth Prince, Qin Zhi Cheng, and the Ninth Prince, Qin Zhi Jian. The two princes were brothers from the same mother. It was not strange to see that the two brothers were always together.

The two princes walked in his direction and paused upon meeting his gaze. 

"Seventh Brother," It was Qin Zhi Jian who had spoken first. 

Qin Zhi Hao nodded before he greeted his two brothers, "Fifth Brother, Ninth Brother." His gaze fell on Qin Zhi Cheng who was watching him with a scrutinizing look.

After a few seconds, his Fifth Brother walked away without saying anything.
