Chapter 13: CHAPTER 12 RESTING BEFORE MISSION (CALM BEFORE STORM)
After that, I take some rest with Kunou. I got a message from Elsie that say she already cover for me. She have her use after all.
"How long are you gonna hide girl?" While I entered the room that they prepare for me I can sense someone here. And not yokai. But human.
"You are strong." The one who says this is none other than Jeanie Arc.
"Sigh. What did you guys want me now?" I really need to take a rest after fighting you know. I really take my time in my own enjoyment.
"Cao-Cao told me to offer you so you can join us again." She show her sword holding it at my neck.
"Careful there girl." Saying this I just put her sword away without her really taking this seriously.
"You are a strong human. Yet. Why did you help those that other than human like us? You know right? We human is called as the weakest faction. That we are only some kind of toy for the other faction to use." She say this seriously to me.
I nod at her, "I know."
"Then why? Why help them? Join us! Join us and we can make human factions to be the strongest faction in the worlds!"
I shake my head at her invitation, "I can't. While there are many that like that. The one who I help isn't like that. I know they're not like that. That's why I want to help them in the first place. Go and tell them this. While I don't want to hurt or killing you guys I will do so because what I do is for the Greater Good. The real Greater Good." She hesitated a bit. Then destroy her sword.
"Next time we meet I hope you can change your mind and join us." Saying this I let her to left this place.
What I said to her just now is the truth. I know there are many factions out there that only see humans as their toy to use as they please. And it's also the truth that the one I help isn't like that. And lastly, it's also the truth that I will put an end to them because what they are actually hurt human more than helping us. Killing other factions just because some of them do the same to us will never solve the problem. I probably not gonna kill those guys if I can help it. Maybe I can put them in some kind of prison.
I can only shake my head. The ideas seem like that Dumbledore guy to my liking. While I'm all for a second chance there are just so many chances for you to get and to redeem yourself is with you admitting your own mistake. Only after that you can get your second chance.
I just sleep away aware that I only have 1 last night here which means my mission is starting tomorrow.
After waking up I meet Azazel who is fishing some fish from a puddle. Yeah we know there is no fish there I think he just did this for relaxing.
"Yo. Old man." Saying this I sit beside him. He look at me a bit at continue his fishing.
"Young Katsuragi. Seem like you are fresher after all those fights." I only smile at him.
"Maybe." Hearing this he laughs at me.
"Ahahaha. You really are interesting human huh." Saying this the of us back to silent again for a bit.
"How is everyone?" I ask this of him not because I'm worried or anything but just because I'm curious. Seeing that I can fight Issei who can be called the strongest in the group. Beside Azazel that is.
"Well, they're fine. You really going a bit too much against them huh. Ahahaha. But it's fine. With that way of losing maybe it can motivate them to being stronger than before." I nod at him. While I didn't care whether they're strong or weak if they are strong It just means I didn't need to do much.
"By the way Katsuragi-Kun..."
"Hm?"
"Just how many treasures you have?" He really is blunt, is he!
"How many do you think?" Are you seriously thinking I will answer you.
Saying this I left without looking at him again and taking a bath before meeting Kunou.
I said to them that I will rescue Yasaka today because tomorrow I'm gonna be back for home in Maijima.
Saying that they only have to wait I go to do my mission right away. So that I can use tonight for resting with my school mate before we go back to Maijima.
